+ -1 moreThe installation took about 5 hours total including the electrical and plumbing. The crew was polite and professional. They were more than willing to answer questions when I had them. It was a good experience. I called 4 different contractors. One estimate I got was $12,000 plus tax. The others I called wouldn't return my phone calls, or called several days after I hired Houston. Go figure. When I called Houston, he returned my call right away. He came out the next day and gave me an estimate, and I hired him two days later.
Description of Work: I had a new heat and air heat pump unit installed (Rheem). It was a 3 ton unit. Installation and included the outside unit as well and retrofitting the internal unit as the first unit that came with the house when we bought it was not installed correctly. The cost included unit, installation, and retrofit custom parts that Houston had to make.
