They arrived when they said they would, carefully checked out my well and my pressure tank, replaced a gauge and the pressure switch. I enjoyed chatting with the technicians while they worked. I was expecting to pay more than I did.?

 + -1 moreWon't use this lousy well service. Thanks to Facebook, we finally will get our well going. My opinion is clear on this fetid well service dba Fryar & Son: look elsewhere unless you like plenty of nonsense and the old run around. Bad, Bad, Bad service. If I could rate lower than an "F" I most definitely would do so
Description of Work: We called Fryar & Son in August 2015 to get our well in working order. Melissa answered the phone and we set up an appointment with the Fryar's. The Fryar's never called nor did they show up for the appointment which was scheduled by their company. We thought it was a poor way to run a business and called another well service. Unfortunately, the other well service did show up and totally ruined the pressure tank and the electrical service. We looked again on Angie's list and saw all these rave reviews for Fryar & Son and thought we give them a 2nd chance. The Son showed up 2 days later on 11/11/15. Basically said we were ripped off by the other well service. He said he would get a pressure tank and a filter for us and get it fixed soon. Well, we never heard back from this guy. He told us he's a big family family man with small kids like we do and he realized the importance of getting water back on for us. He said we'd hear from him soon... Finally called him back on 11/19. We set an appointment for today, 11/23. No phone call and no Fryar at our house which hasn't had any water in more than a month. Fryar's son has lied to us twice. Moreover, because of his NEGLIGENCE and TOTAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, ETHICS, AND INTEGRITY, my family is still without a serviceable well for another 2 weeks because of his B.S!!

 + -1 moreMy well pump stopped working on 8/31 on Labor Day weekend! Luckily they take calls and booked me for first thing that Tuesday morning. The pump is 19 years old so I was sure I would have to invest in a full replacement. Turns out all it needed was a new capacitator. I really appreciate the fast work and honest approach!

 + -1 morePlease see above...as mentioned above I would not recommend this company to anyone if you want to have actual work performed.
Description of Work: After first contact by phone they were out within a day or two. The repairman looked at the plumbing problem I had (on thursday) and i felt confident he knew what the problem was - he seemed very sincere and knowledgable. He quoted me an approximate amount for labor & said they would call me back with a quote on supplies and complete quote by the following Monday. I didn't hear from them by wednesday so I called them. I was told by the owners wife/receptionist the supplier hadn't gotten back w/price yet. I wanted a specific type tank which they said they could get but it might take a couple weeks. I've contacted them several times and a few times they've called me back always saying the tank will be in such and such time or this type tank takes longer to get here or there was a holiday and that may have slowed delivery...this went on for a few months. I was having to be gone from home (i only use a cell fone so no missed calls) for family illness and didn't need the repair as urgently or I would have found another plumber sooner! I was very surprised and disappointed at their lack of honesty/integrity and professionalism. I could not recommend this company to anyone.

 + -1 moreWe were getting occasional decreases in water pressure. A handyman service and a plumber had both recommended replacing the entire system. I was not comfortable with their solutions, so I called Fryars well service. Mike Fryar assessed the problem and replaced the well pump. The pressure to the house decreased after the replacement. Mike used testing of various parts of the system to conclude the problem was in a spring valve in the line to the house. He offered to dig it up, but gave me the option of doing the shovel work to save some money on the project. When I agreed to do the digging, he did a temporary reroute of the water supply at no charge to keep water flowing in the house. The faulty valve was right where he suggested i start digging. Mike returned the next day and removed the valve. I appreciate his experience and willingness to be creative to find solutions to our problem. I will call Fryars again if i have problems with my well and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Mike was able to identify the problems we were having with our well when two other repair companies had wanted to replace the entire system. He replaced our well pump and removed a faulty valve in thew line to our home. He is very personable and knowledgeable about finding where the problem has occurred.
