 + -1 moreAs the story goes "A fool and his money are soon parted." If I knew then, what I know now, it would never have happened. My complaint is not about the work but about the billing. He is meticulous to details and the finished product was quite acceptable. He does work other contracts at the same time, however he spent acceptable time on this project. This was part of the sales pitch about not working two or more projects at the same time. I believe closer scheduling could have reduced this project by about 2 weeks. The final bill was a shocker, it included things that were covered in the contract and did not allow for the numerous things that I had purchased using my Military and VA Disability discounts. The agreement was that anything he needed for the contract, (that I purchased) would be subtracted from the final bill. He also charged a retail price for carpeting, even tho he received a contractors price. The same carpeting from Lowes was about $500.00 less.
Description of Work: This contract was with Total Concepts Company also known as Total Concepts Construction. Owner: Louis Twist Remodel Master Bedroom, enlarge Master Bathroom, enlarge part of hallway and remodel Hall Bathroom. Repair termite damage, reconstruct all areas with new drywall, electrical, paint and floor covering.
