+ -1 moreA few weeks ago we used Superior and have posted on them before. This is different service call and Superior STILL delivered. Fair price, on time, no gouging.I've always said to myself if I ran a service business this is the way I'd do it.These guys do the work that's necessary and do not try to impose the 1000 dollar service call.My AC units are both old.Superior WILL be replacing them both. Thank goodness for a company like Superior.And don't be misled about location, these guys might be in BA but have been AHEAD of schedule on both calls and we live in Brookside.
Description of Work: Our old unit was making a loud buzz every 4 or 5 minutes.The tech came out and replaced an electrical part called a capacitor. (as big as these are they're not really caps but it's a convenient word)I could tell that the cooling wasn't great and the tech also noticed, he added we were low on refrigerant. knowing the unit is old and it's low on refrigerant is not a good sign but I asked him to go ahead anyway. Cap and refrigerant.

+ -1 moreFantastic. They were super busy - everyone's a/c was acting up it seemed - but they managed to get to us quickly. You could see it had been a long day for the repairman but he kept his tired smile on the whole time and found our problem within minutes. Their prices are unbeatable and they didn't try to charge us for things we didn't need. We will absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone we know having a/c problems.
Description of Work: On one of the hottest days of the year we started to realize our house was not cooling off and our air conditioner wasn't kicking on. Panicked, we called Superior Service of Broken Arrow. They came highly recommended and we can see why. They had been overloaded with calls all day and said they would come as quick as they could. Within the half hour the owner of the business was in our garage. In 10 minutes our air was blowing cool and full force. We had blown a fuse. He started with the most basic and inexpensive remedies and never tried to make it sound like it was worse than it was, meaning charge us more than necessary. You will not find a more professional, diligent and fair company to work with. We will always use Superior Service of Broken Arrow for our a/c needs.

+ -1 moreThese guys came out to find my compressor had failed, they showed me the oil all over the bottom of the outdoor unit. then they showed me with a meter the compressor was not repairable, we talked about fixing it but with the old freon getting so expenisive we decided to have a basic system installed instead. They did show me like 5 differant systems from over $ 16,000 all the way down to the $4,500. but did not push the expensive ones, in fact said most homes in this area really had the more basic ones anyhow. We did not plan on this expense right now so it was great to have some one that would understand not everyone can spend $ 10,000. everytime a service guy shows up. Happy, Happy, Happy is all I can say.

We took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal and Superior exceeded my expectations.They're price was so fair that I had to do a double check on their invoice.When they come back, and they will be asked back to our house, for more service I will make sure that I PAY them fairly.This is a business model that others should follow. Fair work for a fair price. I still don't even feel like I got charged enough, I know that sounds odd, but being a contractor in my work, getting work can be tough sometimes. Heck of job guys, thanks so much for coming out ahead of schedule, fixing the unit and not pressuring us for more work. Don't worry, I'll make sure you get more work, even if it's just us!
Description of Work: They did maintenance on our upstairs outdoor AC fan unit. The unit's fan was not running. The technician looked over the electrical part and replaced some voltage surge protectors.

I wasn't real pleased with their salesperson; he kind of talked me out of a system that I really wanted to put in. It was actually a better system but he is no longer with them from what I understand.

+ -1 more1st visit replaced freon. When we mentioned it had been filled one month earlier, said it was probably a result of cold weather. one month later, freon was out. Replaced metering device and filled with freon. Seven weeks later A/C went out. Suggested a possible electrical problem before observing unit and denied the need for more freon or possibility of freon leak. Said that there must have been a micro-burst and all of the sudden everything was fine. Called reputable company to give us estimate to fix the real problem. Will never use this company again.

+ -1 moreI did not have a positive experience at all. Of all the service calls I have had, this was by far the poorest experience I can remember. After arriving 2 hours late, the technician complained about being underpaid, overworked, and under-appreciated. He was upset our particular job running longer than he had planned and went on the complain about the job before ours. I am unsure about how much he was compensated as it was covered by our home warranty.
Description of Work: The air conditioner unit was defrosted and condenser cleaned. New filter was changed.
