The 32-year-old air conditioner in my rental property finally died. Using Angie's List, I called three companies to get quotes. I didn't like the poor quality of the brand one company recommended. Another company tried to sell me extras (more insulation in the attic, replace ductwork). I went with the third, Superior Service. The service rep, Josh, did not recommend anything extra. When I asked if my ductwork needed to be replaced, he said no, it was fine. Josh first recommended one brand, but I told him I preferred a different brand because of ratings in Consumer Reports. He told me that was a good choice, and did not up the price for a higher ranked brand. He did not try to sell me higher efficiency than I had the money for. There were no hidden costs; the bill was to the penny as promised. Response time was great. I talked to Josh on Tuesday and the new units were installed and complete by Thursday evening. I had to do all of this transaction remotely as I no longer live where my rental is. I had no problems or reservations with this phone/email transaction. My tenants were home while the new units were being installed. They said they were impressed with the professionalism of the crew.

The unit stopped running a couple of days after the service. UI called Superior, they sent a technician out, he got theunit running again and administered another lb. of Freon. I think the total cost of both visits was about $135.00. This was almost 1 year ago and my a/c unit is still running fine with very cold air!

Had Superior come out to check out my air conditioner that was not blowing cold air in the middle of the summer. Initially they put refrigerant in around middle June as part of a Angieslist service coupon I had purchased. When the A/C started blowing hot again I had them back out for a more involved inspection, in which they found that the evaporator coil was leaking (I saw the old coil they pulled out, and it was rusted through at the bottom, BTW Superior was not the installer of my original system, which was out of warranty). They were able to replace the evap coil the next day and it only took a couple hours. They also credited me the $$ I had paid for the earlier June visit on the price of the new coil & installation. I felt like the tech was very honest both times he came out and was very efficient in the ultimate repair. I would definitely go back to Superior again for HVAC repaid and maintenance.

So professional. Put back the hose, explained everything. Fast and efficient. Will never use anyone else.
Description of Work: They called 30 minutes before arriving to ensure I would be there. Cleaned the filters, checked the evaporator coil, added freon and explained with patience everything that was being done and why.

I purchased Angie's List $69.00 Big Deals for three heating/cooling units as a preliminary step to listing my home for sale. My realtor felt the price was good; I thought it was great. Although it wasn't advertised on the coupon, they cleaned or changed my supplied filters and looked at the heating units as well. Only one unit needed freon so they applied what wasn't used from the others to save me some money. They found an issue with one of the heater's "things" and fixed it from supplies on the truck, saving me the cost of an additional service call. They were able to schedule within four days of my initial call. They called the day of the appointment to reconfirm and let me know they were running a bit behind schedule. Aaron and Charlie were polite, professional and went WAY beyond what I expected. Patrick arrived midway through the call and performed a visual inspection, calling my attention to a possible venting issue that we were able to address at the time. They amended and presented a very professional report that my realtor will be able to use in presenting my home to potential buyers. During the middle of the night I woke to find the upstairs unit blowing hot air. With house guests arriving in just a few hours, I placed a panicked call at 7:30 AM expecting to leave a voice mail requesting someone come out asap. To my surprise they answered immediately and promised resolution as soon as they could find a tech. Aaron was here within forty minutes and found the problem with an outside condenser. It didn't present typically at the time of the initial inspection and was understandably overlooked by the techs. Aaron replaced the capacitor at no additional cost and had the upstairs cooling within the hour. I felt they went above and beyond and will certainly recommend and used Superior Service again to anyone who asks. Maybe even those who don't. They are that good. ** UPDATE 7/12/13 Blissfully comfortable and confident my HAVC systems were good to go, I added my positive review (above) to the long line of same here on Angie's List. To my surprise, Superior Service of Broken Arrow read it and added a note of recognition. To my delight, they snail-mailed a card expressing appreciation. To my astonishment, they posted a package of gratitude, gourmet cookie-style. When was the last time you remember a company letting you know they valued you and your business? BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Not more than a couple of weeks after the above was posted, engineers found totally unrelated issues with the underground ductwork through which heated and cooled air move from machinery to me. It was deemed beyond saving. I'd need an entirely new system, including the now required overhead ductwork running through rooms where there had previously been none. Yikes! So I called around; I tried to find three companies from which to choose. But it's July; nobody wants a job like this in July. It takes hours of planning, drawing schematics on paper, tapping on walls, considering aesthetics, and figuring out the load per the folks at the electrical conglomerate. Of the three, one simply ran; one brought a "consultant" that I'm still waiting to hear from; and one ? you know which one, right? ? one moved heaven and earth, and walls and doors, to do a spectacular job with an honest eye to what I could and couldn't afford. Patrick did some legwork and brought the world's best crew, who brought crew of their own, to take me from hogtied, hopeless about the situation and just plain hot to and entirely workable solution ? and a dependable temperature-control system that lets me laugh at summer in the south. In just five days. This wasn't some minor, tinkering-thing. They had to deal with plumbing and electrical. They cut and soldered. They broke up and repaired concrete. They erected a sunshade and built things in the driveway. They were polite. They were punctual. They were professional. They cleaned up their mess. They were flipping' AWESOME! Patrick owns the license but he doesn't sit back and rest on his laurels; he's here, working in the heat, setting an example and teaching as he goes. Following their leader, his guys go to school; they know the technology and how to apply it as needed. They understand and care about their customers ? and they never forget to thank you for choosing them to handle your needs. Aptly named, they are. Not "Adequate" or "Good,? these guys and the work they do truly are superior in every way. Honest! Superior Service of Broken Arrow. Why can't every business be like that?

The process was flawless. The technician, his name was Bucky, was professional, courteous and prompt. He explained everything he was doing. He also provided opportunities to save on future service and inspections, which I took advantage of. When I had an issue subsequent to this inspection, I called Superior Service again as I knew what to expect; I wasn't dissappointed. Their customer service and follow-up is first-rate. Superior Service will continue to be my "go-to" for any HVAC issues.

Well it was late and I had to say that the job was done great. The day before had a bid of 440.00 to do half of what was done by the serviceman that came to house. The a/c is running cooler and inside air is colder by at less 2.5 degree. I got done for 69 dollars that another company wanted 440 for. Thanks to SUPERIOR SERVICE.
Description of Work: Concerned the a/c was running too long, that freon was low, and air was entering the a/c unit from attic. The serviceman found the return to be fine but did tape area around top of unit and checked comp unit, found freon too high and recouped 1 or 2 pounds of freon. Checked temp inside and out. Was here about one hour and left name and no on unit.

Very good. I am on a yearly contract. Technician made some suggestions for this spring and gave me cost estimate. They are very thorough. They assign a specific technician to your account. The technician becomes familiar with the history and workings of your system. He also made some suggestions for carbon monitors. We had him install them.
Description of Work: Had my fall inspection 6 months ago and now my spring inspection. First tried Superior nine years ago. they put in a new central air system for us. Excellent service. This little company is a jewel. They have grown, but not outgrown their excellent customer service! You can truly trust these folks.

They were super not only did they do the job they educated me on what they were doing and why they were doing it. They came out on memorial day weekend to fix something I was very impressed with them.

Aaron and Josh, the service representatives from Superior Services were great to work with: considerate, intelligent, and competent. The initial work was done as scheduled in 3 days and went without trouble. From the start, the heat worked wonderfully well (the 2nd intake I was advised to put in greatly improved the heat distribution in my house) but when the weather warmed, the AC did not cool the house correctly. I called Josh, and his promptness in getting the system checked and fixed by Aaron (who determined the drain line was not sloped correctly and fixed the problem in about 2 minutes) again made me pleased that I had gone with Superior Service for my HVAC.
Description of Work: Superior Service of Broken Arrow replaced my central heat and AC unit in my 1959 HUD fixer upper home. This involved upgrading from a 3.5 ton to a 4 ton unit AC unit, some modification of existing ducts and lines, and advising my independent contractor on installing a 2nd intake with additional ducting. The air conditioning condenser was not included in the price as I was the winner of a Superior Service trade show drawing which sounds kind of fishy (I know I was skeptical when first contacted). However, as my heat and air was badly in need of replacement, I had already gotten several estimates and the Superior Service bid was solidly $1000 less than the lowest one, so I consider the offer legit.

It took a while to get them out as we had to have outside temp just right. Once it warmed up enough, an appointment was scheduled. They came out when they were supposed to, let us know all was good. Had problems a few days later - unrelated to maintenance, an intermittent problem. Bucky came out on Sunday, and of course we were not having any problems then. We scheduled another appointment, and the unit was acting up. He gave us 3 different solutions, and we have another appointment scheduled. Bucky came out on Sunday, and again on Saturday to figure out our problem and no charge either time. Very appreciative.
Description of Work: Purchased two tune-up coupons. Checked both units.They let us know the outside temp had to be right before they could perform service.

Aaron, (the service tech), originally came out on 2/28/13 to repair or see what could be done with our furnace. He was very prompt, pleasant and professional. On looking over the system he determined that it could be repaired for around $500 to $700. The system was 17 years old and I know from past experience that the life of a furnace is typically only in the 20 yr. range anyway. So after some discussion with my husband, (he was in heat & air for years) we decided to replace the unit. Part of the deciding factor was that it was on sale thru the end of February for a $500 discount. Aaron returned on time on 1st of March with a helper, Jason and they installed the new unit. Everything went smoothly and they cleaned up after themselves. All in all a great job. Over the following weekend, the furnace started making some odd noises and rattling. Not good! The following Monday morning my husband called Aaron back and explained the situation, He came right out and looked it over and said that he would have to order a replacement part. It appeared that we had gotten a faulty fan. He called us back later that day, as promised and said that he had it in stock and would be out the next day to replace it. He again showed up on time, replaced the fan and showed me the new one and the one he was replacing. Explained where the damage was, (it was easy to see how this could happen in shipping!) and there was no way you would know until the part failed. He was done in about an hour. The furnace has worked like a gem since. Both myself and my husband were very pleased with the service, the overall pleasantness of the team and everyone either one if us spoke to at Superior Service. I would highly recommend them and have to my neighbor.
Description of Work: Aaron came out assessed the furnace. Gave us the option, with full costs, on either repairing the furnace or replacing it. Answered all of both mine and my husbands questions. Was prompt and professional all the way. I called the office later with a question I'd forgotten to ask and spoke with Jason. He was also extremely helpful and polite. Answered my questions completely and clearly. When my husband called to tell them we were going to purchase a new furnace, they gave a firm date and time for the install. Showed up here on time with all the equipment and tools they needed to do the job start to finish.

Arron and Josh completed the installation in less than a day for the quoted price -no ups, no oops and no surprises I might add this is the FIRST time in 13 years here in Tulsa that a company has said what they would do and have done EXACTLY what they said they would do for the price they said they would do it for. I am a happy camper!!! Arron and Josh made this whole quote and installation seem as simple as buying a hammer at Home Depot. Thanks guys
