I did all this work in two phases. In the first phase they made the products, painted them, and I hired a carpenter to install it all. This actually went well; and I am happy with the end result. In the second phase a smaller amount of work was done. Sullivans painted the products, and they had one of their contract carpenters install it because my carpenter was not available. Their contractor was a nice enough guy but he was, in my opinion, sloppy. He used screws that were too long and stuck out the other end. I found this out by cutting my hand on one of them. He screwed in too tight and cracked the wood in one place. He hung some of it crooked and I had to admonish him about this to straighten it it up. He banged his ladder into my painted door frame coming and going repeatedly, even after I asked him to be careful for the door frame paint. This installation was not enough for me not to use Sullivan's again though... I would have simply waited and hired someone good to install their product. What aggravated me was when the garage cabinet door paint began cracking and crazing a few years later. I called them because I wanted them to repaint the door. The young salesman assured me that they did not paint these cabinets; that they delivered them unpainted; and I that I had them painted. Therefore based on that, I was responsible for the paint problems. This was not true. Sulivans delivered them painted. I asked to speak to the owner and got the same line of #@*& from him. I did not still have the paperwork to prove my case. I could have handled being told that the garage is not climate controlled or the warrantee is up so there would be a charge. But I was offended about being given wrong information by the young sales opportunist, and also by the owner choosing to defend his employee's untrue position. I would not use them again for based not on their product, but on how I was treated after the sale. And it is because of this treatment that the sloppy work that I could originally have given them a pass on now becomes an annoyance to me as well.

They do very professional work but they are not cheap. They did some work for me that corrected some work from another cabinet shop. I think they did pretty much everything that I’ve expected. They are pretty proud of their work. I actually called them a while back about building a vanity for the bathroom but the estimate they gave me was just more than I want to spend but I have no doubt if I pay them that much money because they will do a good job. They are good folks I think to deal with.

I called Sullivan's to see if we could run our butcher block through their planer. They were upfront with the price and got it done the same day. The owner took my order and asked exactly what I wanted done (how much to sand it down). I would def use them to get custom cabinets some day. They were courteous, and prompt.

Early in 2014, Jack Martin from Sullivan's came out to our house to take measurements of a large built-in media center in our den and give us a rough estimate and some ideas on how to update the space. A few months back, after we had our floors replaced, we contacted Sullivan's to begin the project and we were more than pleased with every part of the process. We really liked Jack's design that he worked up and the finished cabinet looks wonderful. Their installer, Rick, did a great job removing our old cabinet as well as installing the new one. We were very happy with Sullivan's and will definitely use them again should we need any other custom cabinetry.

It didn't cost me very much. Sullivan's Custom Cabinetry's store environment was very professional. They seemed to want to help the customer. In the future if I had to do this all over again I would probably go to them.

I first contacted Sullivan's Custom Cabinets in 2011 while remodeling another home in mid-town with an ex-girlfriend. Bob Sullivan met with us to design a vent-a-hood and center island with a sink. The outcome was a beautiful addition to the kitchen and well-worth the money spent. I made a huge mistake when I didn't go with Sullivan's, a proven, reputable cabinet maker, when I decided to remodel my present home. I allowed a and quot;wanna-beand quot; contractor to convince me that he was capable of completing my remodel at a fair price and on-time. As a result, I have experienced a nightmare which has cost me double the original bid and expanded the remodel time to almost one year! Had I contacted Sullivan's originally, I feel certain that the pain and expense I have endured could have been avoided. Don't make my mistake, call Jack Martin and get him involved with your remodel project. I will be calling them back to do my bathroom cabinets and, rest assured, I have learned my lesson when hiring untested, so-called and quot;cabinet makersand quot; in the future.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED FROM SULLIVAN AND WILL LOOK TO THEM FOR ANY FUTURE CABINET NEEDS. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL, AND THEIR WORK LOOKS OUTSTANDING.
