His follow up service was horrible. Danny Kingsley is only interested in getting your business. Workmanship was terrible. Pool concrete spalled off, the corner fell in the pool and he would not fix or return calls. Had to get a judgement then find out even more was wrong.

Two years after pool was put in we started having trouble. The concrete spalled off and crumbled into the pool a huge crack appeared and the corner of the pool fell off into the pool. Pools plus and Kingsley would not stand behind any of their work. I had to have another pool contractor come in and make repairs. I would never use Pools Plus or give them a reference. Danny Kingsley is NOT an honest person and does not stand behind his work. Over a 4 year period we have replaced the heater at $4,500.00 replaced 3 lights at $725 each ($2,175.00) replaced concrete and had pool patched at $4,750.000. So spent over $11,000.00 to repair a new pool. POOL PLUS IS A BAD CONTRACTOR!

Our pool is leaking in several places. The piping was not meant to be cut in several places and was. The piping they used is not meant to be used in pools. They forgot the autofill and the fire bowls and did not finish their job. The cleaning system was not approved by the manufacturing company and they were placed in the wrong areas and not all of them are functioning correctly. They requested money up ahead of time because they were having money issues and couldn't afford the products to finish the job??and then never finished the job. We contact them via a lawyer now.

Had eye surgery and was restricted from opening the pool this season. Pools Plus was contacted and arranged a day/time to open pool. Their 1st appointment was a no show; 2nd appt, no show. After we called them, was told the crew got tied up. Finally 2 people came out and attempted to remove the cover while the excess water on top was being pumped. The pool water looked pretty good under the cover but they couldn't get the folded cover over the step area - it was getting late in the day; instead of unfolding and repositioning the cover back on and coming back the next day, the crew dumped all the leaves and debris that were on top of the cover directly into the pool!! 1 guy was then called off our job to go to another job site. Upon his return the 2 left taking the cover with them to clean and leaving the entire mess in the bottom of our pool which did not even have the filtration system turned on yet. By mid-morning next day no one showed up; called the company again to find out when they would be returning to finish job. Jay said we would be contacted before they came out. No one called, but @4:30 pm 1 person arrived. He attempted to remove a little of the debris then he took a huge bucket of our dry chlorine and dumped it all into the skimmer - did not mix with water. After several minutes went to check on him and status of pool. Crew person was gone, had stolen the automatic chlorinator, pool cover was still missing, hoses were tie wrapped where they could not pull air into the filter. No communication on where they went, when they would return. Called company, but had to leave messages on recorder over and over next few days, on when job would be finished, all the while this mess in bottom of pool is just sitting, staining and ruining our pool liner. Requested a return call from Joshua Kingsley (owner on record). A service man did finally call, but again requested the return call from Joshua. Finally Joshua called the next week - told Joshua we wanted our pool cover and auto chlorinator returned asap. Was told auto chlorinator had been busted by one of his crew and it would be replaced. Numerous phone calls were attempted to find out status - no one would ever answer the phone; had to leave messages each attempt. No further calls were returned. The pool cover was returned - found it thrown on the ground one day; the auto chlorinator still remains stolen.

We called 3 companies requesting bids for a pool. Josh was one of the first to reply and he met us quickly to discuss what we wanted. Within a week, he had renderings to view and prices to discuss. We got other bids, but the Pools Plus team was able to meet our needs and work with us to fit our budget. Danny was at our home for every phase of the project giving us detailed reports about the progress. We knew that Josh and Danny were always just a phone call away when we had questions and we ALWAYS got a quick response. Danny and Oscar went above and beyond to make sure our build was perfect. Since completion, Jay has answered all of our questions regarding maintenance. We will recommend Pools Plus to anyone we know thinking about a pool and we will call them for any future projects we may have.

We chose them, because they were honest and very gracious. They started when they stated they were going to. He always keeps me updated on the progress. Just great service.
