Painting By Bill

Bill did some work for my parents. He was supposed to apply 2 coats of paint on the exterior portion of their home. When it came time for completion and we walked around the outside of the house there were a lot of spots that were missed and the paint underneath was showing. He swore he did 2 coats and we watched him only apply one coat of paint. He was very disrespectful to my Mom and started raising his voice at her. The work was not what was promised. I could go on and on about his work. To top is all off he tried to take the paint that THEY bought saying it was his. The reviews on here were very misleading. The neighbors even commented on seeing the paint underneath the 2 or 3 coats that he said he put on the house. He would not return calls and did not show up when he said he was going to show up. Do not use this man. I feel like he took advantage of an elderly couple.

I will use Bill's any time I need to hire a painter. Great price, promptness and quality is A+. Two different jobs, very satisfied with both.

He does a good job. Keeps the site lean and tidy. His prep work is thorough and meticulous. The results of his jobs with us have been really fine, and his bids are reasonable. We'd definitely hire him again.

I call for a quote, Bill quoted I excepted the quote, he started and completed the job within the stated time frame, not one extra added to the cost.

Quite personable. Treated elderly mother (homeowner) with respect which was greatly appreciated. We would consider hiring them again.

Bill was able to start early due to inclement weather prohibiting his outdoor work which worked into our schedule just great. He started the job on Wednesday doing the prep work, but had to interupt the job on Thursday when he called and said some problem arose. We thought to ourselves, OH NO, not this kind of guy. BUT, as it turns out he was faithfully here on Friday and came in on Saturday morning to finish his work (which really did work for us but we thought we might have to insist). He had lots of cracks to caulk which he did and the paint job looks better even than I had anticipated. He seems very honest, for example; I did not realize his quote included his providing the paint we picked as well as sealer and primer. When I asked about where to purchase he reminded me that he bought it - (that was not written in the bid so it would have been pretty easy for him to make a bigger buck). We were quite happy that we selected Bill. He seems genuinely friendly and helpful but most importantly he was conscientious, thorough, experienced and quite professional. He cleaned up after himself every day he was here, that's real important in my book -- He did not splatter paint all over and after some of the people we have hired, it was a welcome pleasure to do business with him. We would definitely recommend him to all our friends.
