Pacific Shore Stones

The contractor came to the house one day and measured. After we chose the granite, he came back and installed new countertops and a new undermount sink and backsplashs in one day. The job was completed professionally and quickly.

My first contact with Pacific Shores was when my countertop contrator brought them into negoiations on replacing my granite countertops. This was due to the fact that the granite Pacific Shores supplied was an inferior dyed product, which was not disclosed to me until after the dye began staining my clothing. After lenghtly discussion, Pacific Shores' agent verbally promised me new granite at no cost to me. I have this entire converaation recorded. I have samples of the dyed granite as well. When I made arrangements for the granite to be installed by another contractor, I was told by three separate Pacific Shore employees that that was fine. When my new installer failed to show up for the measuring appointment, I called them and found out that Pacific Shores told the contractor the comp job was called off. When asked if I was informed, Pacific Shores told my new contractor that I was, which was not true. When I spoke to the agent and asked what was going on, he blamed me for switching contractors, a fact he was fully aware of and had told me was fine. For someone who kept telling me that his word was all he had, he failed to honor it with me. I am sure to tell everyone I come in contact with of my experience with Pacific Shores, including other contractors.
