Overhead Door Company of Tulsa - Residential

I went to the company since they where the ones that supplied and installed the garage door in my house back in 2005 / 2006. I had an issue that the door would not operate. I went to their offices and set up an appointment, which was more than reasonable. On the appointed day a gentleman came with the proper identification and checked the system. After reviewing he found a problem with the motor, which he did not have in his truck and he informed us that he would come back the next day, which he did and changed out the motor plus did a full system check and evaluation. So far, the door is working properly, better than before and the assistance was very good. Price wise the cost was very reasonable, so no issues there. I recommend Overhead Doors to anyone.

Both springs were replaced and tech assisted in answering other door related questions. Tech fixed the door the same day that I called them.

They showed up on time and told me the estimated time to complete the job. They replaced the opener/motor, the outdoor keypad, added two sensors, and replaced the button inside the garage which opens the door. They also gave us two new remotes for our cars. They completed the job in less time than estimated, helped me program the code for the outdoor keypad, and reviewed the changes I needed to know about our new system. Both men were polite and helpful.

It went super! Really appreciate honest and skilled technicians that come within one day like they did! Especially fantastic after originally having the wrong Overhead Garage Door Company come out and realized that I had the wrong folks and paid them for their service call and $700 estimate! It was an easy mistake to get the wrong company on Google - it appeared they were the original Overhead Door folks on Google. So the cost to fix it was $75 which included using the $20 coupon on Angie's list. I could have gotten scammed but didn't!

Went great. The sales man came out and was able to give us a quote without me even being there. Work was done next week. Everything was done in a day. They look and work great!

This company installed a garage door for my new construction home in 2013. The door has broken a few times since despite it being a new door. It broke on New Year's Eve and they didn't respond to our messages for help until I called again during business hours on Jan. 4. They refused to fix it for free even though the warranty was only a few months over. They refused to work with me on price for a new service door too. The office personnel and owner were rude and I would not recommend them.

It went great! Matt was our technician and he was very personable and friendly. In addition to replacing the torsion spring, he gave us helpful tips on how to care for everything related to the garage door opener. He offered to help with the programming of remotes or anything else we needed. Very pleased with the service!

Garage door opener failed on 12/22/15, thought that I would not be able to get it fixed until after Christmas. I called Overhead Door of Tulsa, since they saved me once in the past, and they said they would be out the next day. They called to let me know they were on their way. Rusty was very professional, and repaired the opener quickly (even thought it was very old, and could have insisted in selling me a new one), made some adjustments, and oiled all of the moving parts. Great experience, again.

It went well. The only hitch was that I tried to use the Angie's list coupon that I printed off this website, but he would not accept it. He said because it lacked the 'overhead door' logo on it, he couldn't accept it. He also said he had never heard of Angie's list. Thankfully he told me that they accept ValPak coupons, so I quickly got online and printed that one instead. I would have been really upset though to set up service through the links/coupons on this site and then have to pay $20 more because he wouldn't honor the coupon. Hopefully they will inform their technicians that there is a coupon from Angie's list that is valid- or else take the coupon offer down.

The installation was sloppy. Wires were hanging from the ceiling, My husband has spent all afternoon fixing this job. The openers were poorly installed as well in an attempt to try to cover up sheetrock hole from former garage door openers but no attempt was made to repair the sheetrock hole left. We will NOT use them again

A gentleman came out to look at our garage and gave us a price. He answered our questions and gave us some tips on preparation because we had to have our new driveway installed prior to the door be installed. We went to the office and looked at the doors. We were assisted by a knowledgeable gentleman and were able to choose the door that suited our needs. I had to call the office on several occasions before the installation took place. I am giving the office a "B" because on two occasions when I called I was transferred to a gentleman who answered his phone with "hello" instead of telling me his name and I had to ask him for it. In between those two calls I placed another call and was told he was not in but would return my call shortly. He did not and I waited all day and part of the next before placing another call to the company. When I explained the reason for my call this gentlemen appeared to not understand what I was asking. After asking several times he finally understood and gave me an answer. On installation day the two man crew arrived at the appointed time. They told us how long the job should take and finished at about that time. They did an excellent job and a good clean up. (They did leave some strips of film on the front of the door by accident. We removed them - no problem) They also left a large bend nail outside of the garage door and some washers scattered around, Again just a small thing. I gave them a "B" for professionalism because I went into the garage at one point and found one of them smoking at the front of the garage. I would definitely recommend this company. I like their product and they worked with me when my job had to be delayed because bad weather delayed the installation of my driveway.

It was a good experience. I would use them again. He was professional and personable. They were recommended and I saw them on Angie's list.

The service man was very professional and replaced the motherboard of the operator at no cost.
