I called Mr Electric today to solicit a bid/quote for a job I needed to be done. There was definitely a lack of understanding between me & the man that answered the phone, as he had an accent that was hard to understand & apparently he was not real familiar with a lot of english words & terminology, as he kept asking for repeat of info & spelling of words & I had to ask him to repeat his words so I could understand him. Once we finally got through all the questions & ready to set an appointment I was informed that there will be a $39 fee for them to come to my house to make a bid for MY business. What?...REALLY? In what world does a business charge the customer for the chance to get the customer's business?! UNBELIEVEABLE!! This world has gone crazy! Needless to say I told him NO.
