+ -1 moreIn general this is a pretty expensive system compared to most alternatives. My yearly bill (keep in mind the system only runs about 7 months a year) ia about $300-$400. Furthermore, I've had significant problems just keeping the system running. From the best I can tell from the prior owner of the home (who installed the system) the system is about 5-6 yrs old. I have installed 1 referb'd/used pump, 1 brand new pump and my system is down again with a probable pump problem. A new pump runs about $225 to replace. Stick with tiki torches and candles.
Description of Work: The contractor was responsible for maintenance, winterizing, spring start up and filling up the mosquito misting system.

Description of Work: STARTED UP OUR MOSQUITO DEFENSE SYSTEM IN JUNE 2012. THE REMOTE DID NOT WORK, SAID IT WOULD BE REPLACED. WE WERE UNABLE TO USE THE SYSTEM FOR THE ENTIRE SUMMER. WEEKS LATER, HE BROUGHT OUT NEW REMOTE. NEVER RETURNED CALLS. IN FALL CAME OUT TO WINTERIZE - I ASKED HIM TO CLEAN UP OILY MESS THAT HE LEFT AT FIRST OF SUMMER - SAID HE WOULD RETURN LATER AND DO THAT - NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. CONTINUES TO BILL US, WILL NOT RETURN CALLS. HAVE TURNED HIM IN TO BBB, STILL NO RETURN CALL. HAVE WRITTEN HIM A LETTER CONCERNING OUR FEELINGS AND STILL NO CALL DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
