Description of Work: They required 1400 of 2000 up front for supplies. We agreed. They took check & cashed at 8am the next morning. They showed up on time but did not mask, tape, or prep. Just began painting. They painted door knobs, window casings, shingles, outdoors furniture, sidewalks along with Painting over old flaking paint and rotten boards. Per contract all surfaces were to be prepped, scraped, old boards replaced, and all chaulked at seams. When my husband tried to discuss this with them, they packed up stuff and began cussing at my husband infront of my daughters. This is a family: ages 15-70. Definition of gypsies as per police who were called by us when one of the women hit/pushed my husband from behind. With our 1400 upfront for "supplies" they bought 1 bucket of paint & a box of chaulk. We have now had to file a lawsuit to try to get our money paid so that we can hire a professional painter.
