My condominiums hired these guys to come out and remove a tree from infront of my condominium with no warning/notice by them or my condominiums, they took down an entire tree infront of my condominium with zero warning and no notice that they were taking down the whole tree, they then dropped an entire tree branch onto my car dealing $12,000 worth of damages totaling my car that I am still making payments on, all happening while i am on parental leave 2 weeks after my newborn son was born. They then told me that they knocked on my door 3 times when they had not, and one of the workers said it was my fault for not answering the door, my entire family was awake the entire day and not one of us heard them knock once or ring our doorbell. So if your apartments/condominiums hire these guys and give you no notice of what is happening you better listen for your door or else they will drop a tree on top of your car. On top of all that they left my surrounding area a complete mess and i am now struggling with major anxiety, depression and having major difficulty sleeping, affecting me and my family.

Bill is super friendly and easy to work with. Priced very competitively. Their team did a great job on the trimming and cleanup, the yard and tree look amazing!

The crew showed up on time. They got the tree down fast. My yard was left in better shape than when they arrived. Bill is very easy to work with. The cost was very fair.

We scheduled a time for someone to come to my home. They never showed up. I called to inquire what happened and they never returned my call. It's been over a week since the original appointment, so they have had plenty of time to call back.

The service was great. There was a misunderstanding, but Bill (owner) went way above and beyond to resolve the issue. I could not be more pleased with the end results. Thank you, Bill. I will definitely keep Midtown in mind for future projects.

I did not use this company because I never received a call back from this company and it was a week ago that I called. But I did call Rafael’s Tree Service instead and got the work done quickly, professionally, and neatly. I will never use Midtown Tree Service but I thank them for never calling me back because I found someone better.

I received immediate response to my inquiry with an appointment set for an estimate on the date I requested. The estimate was given in the morning; the work was completed the afternoon of the same day. You can't beat that for service! All of my questions and concerns about how the work would affect the health of my 48-year-old pin oak were addressed. The team did a great job in just a couple of hours. They also did a great job with clean-up. I selected this company based on Angie's List reviews. I received wonderful professional service and a discount as well. I will certainly use them again.

They did a great job! Everything was cleaned and removed from the yard. You can't even tell the tree was there. There was a little miscommunication on date/time of original appointment, but rescheduled with our tree removal at the top of the list. Service was performed early the next morning, and everything was completed to our satisfaction.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree service. I saved more than I paid for their service as opposed to the other bid I had. They scheduled my service within a week, showed up when they were supposed to, completed the service in record time.

The demeanor of the crew was pleasant enough, however there was a problem communicating their procedure. Serious enough to get me irritated again as I write this three months later.

The large crew (11 people) arrived on time and efficiently removed the tree, stump and roots in about 2 hours!

After calling and receiving several quotes. I chose this service. Bill's quote was not the lowest, but one of the best overall. I chose him because he showed up when he said he would to review and quote the project with me. So many others did not. I had a large Willow Birch (more than 25 years old) that was towering over my house. One portion in particular needed to be dealt with before the ice or snow hit this winter. In truth I should take the tree down completely as this lovely tree is very old and only has a few more years left in it. But it is beautiful and sentimental to me. In addition, I have several little Woodpeckers and squirrels who live in it. Bill was very polite and was very accommodating. He patiently listened to my suggested hopes for the tree and we reached a very reasonable compromise. I was most impressed that he didn't seem jaded with his tree experience (like some of the others who quoted me) and was willing to adjust the job toward my sentiments with the tree. We agreed on the start date and time and his crew was there, exactly when he said. When the job was completed, the area was clean and more tidy than when they began the project! Furthermore, I appreciated that I was not nickled and dimed on the project. The quote was the quote. Everything about this job was handled in a very professional manner. I can refer this service without hesitation! Now I just have to save up some more money so I can use them on several more projects, calling my name!

It went great! I wanted to have this project completed before winter because I think it had been a while since the trees in my (new-to-me) home had any attention. My windows are no longer obscured by the holly tree, my power lines are safe for a few more years and the oak tree is away from my roof! The team left my yard neat and the trees/bushes were all trimmed as I requested. I had the estimate done the day of the windstorm and all over town there were tree emergencies and my job was still completed on time! I'm happy my small job was completed on time and accurately - especially in light of the weather. Since I wasn't home when the work was completed, they called me to meet them back at my house to check that I was satisfied - rather than having me check and simply calling back. I will use Midtown Trees again in the future.

They were very quick to respond and come out to perform the work. The work itself was very quick and they left everything clean and orderly.

The crew arrived promptly on time and started to work immediately. There was a crew of four workers, plus the supervisor was on location most of the time. The crew was very hard working and worked diligently the entire four hours (12 total man hours) of the Big Deal contract with Angie's List. The supervisor and three of the crew members appeared to be very experienced. They also had a piece of machinery with claws that saved hours of clean-up and loading time. According to the few estimates I had, I saved hundreds of dollars by getting the Angie's List Big Deal. The only thing I was disappointed with it some debris was left on my patio and back yard. However, to their credit, Midtown Tree Service completed their contract time in full. They would probably have had to charge extra to complete the rest of the clean-up, but they just seemed to have forgot the debris in back. I was very happy with the estimate process and particularly happy with the diligence and expertise of the crew. I definitely recommend Midtown Tree Service and would use them again.
