I would suggest not using McGraw Realtors if you are trying to lease a home. They use a app for tentant screening that is not correct. They will only take your money for the applicaton fees and not approve you if the app they use is incorrect. The app said our credit score was 100 points lower than what all 3 credit reports that we ordered ourselves online say. We never met the Realtor, only text messages. The Realtor asked if we had given notice at our current home and I explained to her that we had not but we told current property managers that we are looking for another home so they could be called to verify our rental history, which is excellent. I told the Realtor she could call our property manager and verify but she told me it wasnt necessary and she would submit our application to the home owner for approval without our current rental history. Other than the app saying our credit score is 100 points lower thatn what it actually is, the other reason they declide our application was because the owner was not able to verify our rental history as the Realtor did not send it or even try to get it. Same Realtor also has more bad reviews on this site.

We were extremely disappointed with our experience with McGraw, top to bottom. We had used them to manage our property as a rental for several years and had inquired from the leasing associate/realtor, Laura Watkins, that we had been working with whether or not to sell the home. She had advised us that it was a good time to sell. And because she is “professional” we took her advice, unfortunately. The house eventually sold but sadly, all of the estimations that she had made were THOUSANDS of dollars off. Which we only found out two days before closing and not from her, from the title company. They explained that she had made a (simple) mathematical error and instead of adding in closing costs (that she advised us to accept) she was subtracting them, which would make our net profit look pretty decent. To add to this frustrating news the realtor never called us to explain her mistake, even though she had the information hours before they sent it to me and even went as far as telling the title company she would call us. Nope. I had to track her down to get answers. And even when we talked she never accepted responsibility for the bad math. Even our bottom-line, break-even number on the house was about ten-grand off (in the wrong direction) from what she estimated…that’s not an estimation at that point, it’s just bad math. To add insult to injury I called McGraw’s Broker Manager, Rachel Hicks, who also never accepted the fact that the math equation was done incorrectly and just pointed at the small fees here and there that could also affect the part of the larger number she was off on. After explaining our frustrations where with the mishandling of the math, and our house, she asked: “well, what would make you happy here?” I told her that we put our trust in Laura and McGraw and told her I just wanted them to do the right thing and try to right the wrong. Her response was “I will talk with Laura and be in touch with you later today”. And for the record, I still have not heard back from Rachel Hicks or Laura Watkins. In the end, we went through with the sale because we live out of state and do not have the time nor the money to hold the property another month and go through the process of trying to lease it out again or try to find another reputable property management company. All I know is I would avoid this one if at all possible. Their math is bad and their resolutions are just as sad. They had nothing to lose just thousands to gain…which they did. So very disappointing.

Response from McGraw Realtors
Mr. [Member Name Removed], It is unfortunate that after a very successful 3-year relationship with McGraw Realtors, during which your house was consistently leased and was sold and closed in under a month and a half, that it has ended on such a sour note. Unfortunately, it was not possible for you to net more for your house after having only owned it for a short period of time. The market dictates what we can get for houses based on comparables in your area. We were able to bring you an approved buyer who could close within an acceptable timeframe. I wish you and your family the best of luck with your future endeavors. If you'd like to discuss further, please contact me at the Rockford office at 918-592-6000. Rachel Hicks, Broker Manager

I used them but my other real estate agent got upset with them so I switched. I was happy with my realtor, sort of, because she went out of town and the people who were supposed to pick up the slack, didn't. They were in the middle of a repair so the tenants did not get their stuff repaired in a timely fashion because the realtor dropped the ball. I think they charged too much money.
Description of Work: I used McGraw Realtors when my property was for rent. They qualified the tenants and showed the property. They also take care of any malfunctions.

We had hired Home Guard Construction to remodel our home and in the process John (owner) told his that his wife was a Real Estate Agent and gave us her contact information. We called Kathryn and hired her to list our home. She was wonderful and we had no complaints at all.
