Person on the phone was very helpful.

Houchin Electronic did a great job. They didn't make the first appointment on time but they called me plenty of times to let me know they were running a little late. So that was great, wasn't an issue. They came in, did their work. No problem at all, just professional guys. The price was reasonable.

Nothing more to say. The electrician did a great job for a very good price. I liked how he kept me informed of the work. I had a great experience with this company.

I researched three different electric companies to remove an 80 lb chandelier and change out a 220 to 110 for my new gas cooktop. I was quoted 350 from all three for the chandelier, one company tacked on an additional $300 to change out the electrical. They arrived on time and surveyed the situation then disappeared. When they returned they brought a third guy in to help with the chandelier and assured me paying for a third guy was better than the chandelier landing on the floor. With this in mind I thought this would definitely raise price. They billed me a few days later and the billing was less than quoted price. I was thrilled!

Everything from start to finish with Houchin was perfect. I subsequently hired them for another job to install a dining room lighting fixture. After two PERFECT experiences with them, I would hire them again and again and again....

He did what he said when he said and stuck to the estimate...so no surprises.

Overall, the experience was fine. I was very well satisfied with their work.

There was some mix up on the scheduled time to do the work. But no major disruption. I called them out to do another job after this one. No scheduling problems that time.

On Sunday night I lost power to half of my home. There was no power to my furnace, dryer, refrigerator, living room, master bedroom and master bath. I contacted the power company who came out and said that there was a burned line in the box below the meter and that they would not be able to fix it since it was on the customer side and thus the customers responsibility. I contacted my Home Warranty and they selected Houchins Electric to diagnose and repair my problem. Within an hour after accepting the service the Tech (Tim) was calling to say he was on his way and should be there within the hour. I met him at the home and he had already diagosed the problem and was calling around to find the parts to repair it. Once he located the part he departed to pick it up and was back within an hour and immediately went to work to replace the breaker box, the burn out breakers and burned lines. He explained how it probably happened and relieved my concerns. He then came into home to check the breaker box inside and made sure everything was working correctly. Very professional and quickly got the job done!

Overall it went really well. The guy worked very hard, was professional, and did a good job. He installed 2 can lights, fixed a broken lightswitch (by running a new line/wire from the other switch through the attic to the new switch), solved the problem/issue with our string of outlets that were not working, and he also capped off/removed the strange 'diy' outlet that the previous homeowner installed that we didn't feel was safe. I felt the fee was fair and the amount of work done was impressive. I would call them again.

He was there quickly on holiday weekend and gave us the peace of mind we were looking for.

My husband and I were having difficulties with the light, we couldn't turn on the lights in our bedroom. It turned out that the problem was with an outlet on the outside of the house that had gone bad. It took a little time to find out what the problem was. They are very conscientiousness about what they do and they're very good.

They are a very professional business. They did a great job. The price was a little high.

The electrician from Houchin Electric Co. moved two electrical plugs. He expanded the outdoor plug and put in a new unit. He put up a 4 foot long florescent light in our bathroom. He took out the old light and put in the fixture for the new light in the bathroom. He added a plug in our closet so that I can plug in my battery-powered sweeper. He moved two plugs and a TV plug in my sewing room upstairs. He spliced and added a new TV plug in our bedroom so that we can have options for cue balls. He put in a big, multiple five-outlet plug outside. He replaced the old one that was there. So he did a lot. He was here for several hours. I would recommend him. He was very good. His prices were reasonable. I was surprised that it did not cost more for all that we had him do. The quality of his work was excellent. He was absolutely right on time. He was very professional. We would use him again.

They were great. They came in at about half of what another electric company wanted. The initial people came in at about $400. They were easy to get hold of. I thought very highly of them. I was in Houston and I basically sent them a list of things that needed to be done. I had someone else there while they did the work. They were very friendly and quick. They picked up the phone immediately when I called and they came out that same afternoon because I needed the work done right away. They were fast, professional and very competitively priced. They were very pleasant to deal with and I would definitely recommend them.

I haven't received the bill yet. I know the owner. They are very reliable and they have been in business for a long time. They are a very reliable company and they do good work. I’ve used them in the past and their prices have been good. They are not the cheapest but they are good.

We really liked him and the only reason we didn't use him was because it was easier for my kitchen designer to use his own guy. The experience was excellent. It would have been a big job and he clearly knew what he was doing. He would have been our choice if our kitchen guy hadn't had someone else. We were very impressed.

Excellent, timely and professional service. I don't know how to rate the cost. The electrical ballast cost $32.00 which is inline with the retail prices at Home Depot and Lowes. However the labor rate was $90.00 per hour, and they charged me for a full hour, but the work was done in 15 to 30 minutes. Perhaps they have a 1 hour minimum? Or perhaps they charge drive time? But it was top rate service and I will use the company the next time I need electrical service.

They were punctual and didn’t mess around. They were very professional and got the problem solved.
