Could not have been happier. Work was done in less time that expected. Upon suggestion of lead electrician, some outside lights were put on photo cells to eliminate need for switches. If an issue came up, electricians came to me and we talked it thru which I very much appreciated.
Description of Work: Failure of most wall switches due to a low voltage system that was 50+ years old and unavailability of new parts, decision was made to rewire switches.

All the technicians that visited are very polite and professional. They are honest about what needs to be done and carry a 3 year warranty on their work. There are some stipulations that have to be met before they can honor the warranty. In my case my water pressure was way too high so that lead to some additional repairs however it also prevented some greater problems in the future. The technician was very prompt at both of my appointments and the office always called to make sure that I was home 30-60 minutes out. HARP provides a quote on the spot and if you choose not to have the work done it is still a $49 service fee. They seem to be a little higher than other companies that offer similar services but I'll gladly pay that extra money to get an honest technician who does very good work with a company that has an excellent warranty.
Description of Work: They've done a couple of jobs for me. One was to replace a bad outside water faucet and install a water pressure regulator. The other job was to replace a master bathroom leak and bring my water heater up to code with a new TPR valve.

Called Monday. The heat was working only part time, we were using space heaters and the gas fireplace but it wasn't very safe or effective. They said they could possibly get to me Tue or Wed. I took a "guaranteed" appointment at 1pm Wed. Since it would work occasionally, I replaced the thermostat myself on Tue in hopes it would be fixed. Wednesday came and it was off again. Harp said when I called that I never confirmed, and had cancelled my appointment. Exasperated, I took their offer to be on the schedule until Friday. By noon on Friday, I called another company, who were there within three hours and resolved the problem in less than half an hour. Of course, by 230 Friday Harp calls to tell me in their brightest, cheery voice "we just can't get to you today, he had to order a part". Really. You would think parts and ordering them would be expected. Thank goodness I'd already given up on them or I would have had to put the family in hotel rooms all weekend, or however long it would take them to actually show up. I cannot blame the technicians, as I never got one. I blame the scheduling. Either the ads are too good and they can't handle the business, or they truly don't know how long the jobs might take and they're guessing. If it hadn't been 17 degrees and I didn't have kids huddled by space heaters I would probably be less perturbed.

Don't use these guys. Lied about cost of permit, although they did get one; they charged nearly triple the actual cost because they supposedly 'average' the cost of all customer permits across all jobs, according to their customer service manager. So if someone who needs another kind of permit in another jurisdiction pays the same as anyone else needing different work in different jurisdiction... a permit is a permit is a permit, so a flat fee.. supposedly. Lied about need for CO2 detector INSIDE of the hot water heater closet. I called the City of Broken Arrow to confirm and talked to the chief inspector, who said NO WAY, that CO2 detectors inside of hot water closets would go off all of the time, and that I was being told incorrect information. The installer just kept arguing with me about it until I got the inspector on the phone with him. Lied about whether they'd schedule an inspection with the city; they didn't. I had to schedule my own inspection and get the City out to put a sticker on the hot water heater since I do things LEGALLY. I see Mr Harp on his commercials all of the time, and it makes me want to gag; they have zero honesty or integrity. The only positive thing I can say is they got me the brand of hot water heater I wanted (while constantly criticizing my choice during installation) and the hot water heater works fine, although it was sloppily installed, and although the installer said, "it's in a closet, nobody sees it." I would never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone.

they were awesome, on Time, prearrival telephone call. Discussed issue costs options. Performed great, proper service ran new electric to Garage for oversized dryer. Plumber came same great service. Replaced all plumbing under kitchen sink checked for leaks. Both made sure shoes were clean and put shoe covers on if needed , asked if they could check anything else while there. Love them will use again.
Description of Work: Determined problem with Maytag dryer was actually an inadequate electric to electrical outlet. Also new dryer with pedestal to large for as area. Also same company sent plumber for plumbing issue in kitchen.

They have been out several times and they very very nice. Once we called them in the morning and they were out that afternoon.
Description of Work: Recently we had them come out to give us an estimate on a HVAC system. We have had them out to look at our gas fireplace and they also put in a ceiling fan for us too.

I do not remember how much the service cost but it was reasonable. The guy who came out was very prompt and he managed to install the light in a way that we did not have to do any wiring or anything. There was already a switch for the backyard and he connected it to that switch and it has worked great. He was very professional and really courteous. He also took his time to adjust the light until it was right.
Description of Work: We used Harp Services about five or six years ago for installing an outside security motion light for us.

We have used Harp for years. Never again. Too many unwarranted charges .I checked my receipts, we used them last June and they listed the charges for the work being done and gave us a total, it was great. This must be something new to make an additional profit. They have a $49.00 trip charge, plus a $119.00 troubleshooting charge. That's before they even look at your problem. You have to sign off on those charges, then they review the problem, and have you sign of on the additional charges.

When I These are very dishonest people. If you do decided to use them, make sure that they mention any hidden costs. I will never deal with these people again.
Description of Work: The repair guy just took the lid off the front of the furnace and just looked at it. He didn't even test anything. I told him to check the opening to the output to see if there may have been something blocking the fan. He took the pipe loose and pulled out a dead bird. The furnace still wasn't working. I ask him if he was going to fix it and he said that in addition to the $49.00 service call, I would have to pay him an extra $119.00 totaling $168.00 for him to even diagnose why the furnace was still not working. When I first called Harp to scheduled the appointment to have my furnace fixed, Kim who scheduled it failed to mention the $119.00 diagnostic fee. I called back to let her know that I was being cheated because she only mentioned the $49.00 service fee and nothing else. I feel that this company tried to take advantage of me because of the very cold weather. Kim was rude and unprofessional in asking me "Well, how much do you think it should cost?".

This is a property my property manager called out because ONG stated it was out of code and Harp was called and they came out, I have no idea how much time they spent figuring this out but, Does not fall in line with other reputable plumbing companies to do the same, the fee to give a quote only was $120.60 and the quote for the replacement was up to 2 to 3 times the amount I actually paid to get this work done. I was told by the company I used $79-$89 is the normal cost to come out only, I understand that fee and could live with it, So if you don't mind paying up to 25% more for an estimate or 2 to 3 times the going cost, Call them.

The installer seemed to be very knowledgeable and professional. The job was done in a timely fashion and I was very happy with the end result. They were upfront with what the project was going to cost but the cost was more than I was quoted but other companies. I choose Harp because I trusted them more.

They did good job. Thought they charged too much, but we have had zero problems from the work they done. Will add that we had them work on a closet and bathroom power outlet in past. It was over a year later and the closet just stopped working. I called them, and they sent a guy out the next day to fix it , free of any charges. I guess you get what you pay for. I would use them again.

Technician showed up, figured me a price with the new "surcharge". I told him ridiculous and shut the garage door on him. Immed went to Angies List, found Hayes Elec - they showed same day, excellent job, LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE.
Description of Work: Provider did NOTHING as I shooed them away as soon as the price was quoted. OUTRAGEOUS PRICING.

I needed some heat and air worked performed on a home I had just purchased. The stuff I needed repaired was identified in the home inspectin report I received before purchasing the home. I called Harp and told them what I needed done and scheduled with them 2 weeks ahead. I chose this date as I was having some other work done on this date and would be at the house all day. The tech showed up, spent 10 miutes looking at the system and wrote a quote. The quote included a $119 diagnotics charge. I questioned this as I had told him exactly what I needed done and he responded that he had to charge it. I asked if he could do the work that afternoon and he said he could not but that he could do it the next morning. I rearranged my schedule to be there the next morning. When he had not arrived by 9:30 I called the office and they said he was still at his first call but that I was next on the list. When he had not arrived by 11:30, I had to leave. I called the office to complain and that promised to have him there at 3:30. I also complained about the diagnostic charge and they removed that from the bill. He arrived promptly at 3:30 and did a good job. He was courteous and professionsal. I cannot complain about the work, just the difficulty in getting them there to do the job.
Description of Work: Installed an overflow onitor on the drip pan of the furnace and connected an additional air intake to the furnace.

They're prompt, very courteous, and they do offer a 3 year warranty on the services they provide. Basically, any work that they do, they warranty for 3 years. We had them remodeled our kitchen and they did the wiring in my kitchen and did plumbing and also did some repair on some old washer hook ups in the garage and that was not quite 3 years ago. The 3 years ago this coming November and we actually had a small leak in that, that developed in that plumbing that was in the garage about 3 months ago and we called them and we're safe. Their records indicated the work they did. They scheduled something about 3 days later that accommodated our schedule. They came out and fixed it and that was of charge. The price may be a little bit higher but the generator that we got through them was a little bit higher than the other highest rate that we got, but again, we took into consideration the peace of mind of knowing, having far history with them and they extended warranty of 3 years whereas now they should look at it to get 90 days out of the service. I thought it was reasonable for what they included in their service warranty.
Description of Work: We're using Harp Service Company for the whole house generator. They do plumbing, air conditioning, heat and air.

Harp did not fix the problem. They over-quoted us $1,200 for our two-year old a/c unit that we ended up having a friend fix for $200.

I had used them before and that's why I called them back again. They were punctual and price was reasonable. Everything they did was an A. I would definitely and highly recommend this company again. He fixed the first problem and tested it. He had to go back in and test to find the error. He had to go pick up a part and hurried back to get it installed. I really appreciate his hard work and honesty. He was very professional and customer-friendly.
Description of Work: They spent about 6 hours working on my heating & air system. There were two problems with my heating & air system. The electrical board needed to be replaced.

Overall they were not trained well and yet they priced their services very high. Try someone else
Description of Work: Had Harp out after hearing their commercials. I needed a couple of new electrical outlets installed.. One installed outside the second one in the garage for a refrigerator. The technician cut a hole for the outlet then decided that he did not like where he cut the hole and cut a second hole in the wall. Then installed the outlet and left the original hole there without filling it . I called and complained and after a couple of days they sent someone out to patch the hole in the wall. How unprofessional !!! this is our house not an learning project to train your new people on. They gave the excuse that this was a new person. Also They did not carry what they needed on the truck.
