Handy House Cleaning

Terrible company and horrible customer service!! If you want the service completed, do not book with Handy House Cleaning or Handy.com. They no showed first appointment with no notice and rebooked me 3 days later which put me in a super time crunch for my move out. I sent multiple communication emails because they won’t publish a phone number (they would probably receive too many complaints) and told them how important this cleaning was and to double and triple check they would show up. I was assured all would go as planned... well they no showed again with no notice! I had to scramble to find someone to come last minute and pay a premium price. Handy is unprofessional and unreliable. They have tons of negative reviews on other sites so not sure if they are posting positive ones here or if it’s because they pay for top billing. Avoid at all costs for sanity and peace of mind!!!

I POSTED THAT I WOULD PAY UP TO 300. AND LISTED WHAT I EXPECTED. I TOLD THEM EXACLTY WHAT TO CLEAN AND NOT CLEAN. CARPET SHAMPOOING WAS ON THE LIST. THEY SPENT ONLY ABOUT 3 HRS AND SAID NEEDED TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY WHICH WAS OK. SATURDAY THEY CAME AND CLEANED THE CARPET AND WHEN I PAID WAS TOLD IT WAS 400. THAT CAME AS A SHOCK AS IT IS ADVERTIZED AS 25 PER HR. I AGREED TO PAY 300 KNOWING THAT THEY WERE LIMITED IN WAYS TO CLEAN AND WHAT TO CLEAN. IT WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINT OF THEIR WORK EXCEPT THE SURPRISE OF 100 EXTRA . SO THEY BASICALLY MADE 100 AN HOUR. BUT KNOW THAT I HAD PLACE THE AD SAYING UP TO 300. COMMUNICATION WAS LIMITED SATURDAY AS THE LADY SPOKE VERY LIMITED ENGLISH. FRIDAY THE LADY WHO CAME HAD INTERPRETED EVERYTHING. NOTHING NEGATIVE EXCEPT THE SURPRISE COST.

House cleaning was good, only a couple of minor things not done. Overall a great job! Unable to contact the company to speak to a human; only way to contact through email on their web site or download app. I wanted to speak to a human. That is why I will not use them again.

Joy was professional and thorough. We would request her again.
