Please see the above description of my experience with Gravette Service Company. I would additionally add that Mitch is very honest and straight forward. He said if he does not think he can repair an appliance in a satisfactory manor he will tell the customer upfront before the customer in-curs unnecessary charges.

Fairly price, professional, honest. Terrific experience.

I called to have the pump reaplced after emptying the cleanout and making sure lines weren't clogged. Mitch asked questions to make sure he had the parts he thought he would need BEFORE (!) he came out. Arrived about 2 - 3 hours after I called and called before he headed over. While he was here, he noticed that we had placed a paper towel under the hot water supply line and inquired about it. I told him it was leaking and I had new hoses in my car. He replaced the washer without being asked and without charge. He said he thought it would fix the leaking and said I probably wouldn't need the hoses. But he also checked the hoses I had bought so if I needed to replace them I wasn't replacing them with cheapo hoses. Also told me to save the old parts because the cleanout was still good if I ever needed to replace the pump again I wouldn't have to pay for the whole assembly again. (He couldn't get just the pump on the same day, so he replaced the whole assembly this time.) I appreciated his attention to small details and his professionalism and reponsiveness. Will definitely use again.

Great he figured the problem over the phone and game with the right parts and even helped us with our dryer hose. Very nice man.

I called in the morning to request repair service for dryer which was not heating. Just 2 hours later, I received a call to let me know that help was on its way. The problem was quickly diagnosed, and the replacement parts (which were on the truck) installed. The dryer works perfectly again. Service was fast, courteous and professional, and I would definitely recommend.

It's working like new now. He was great and I highly recommend him. He's my appliance guy now.

I contacted Gravett's and explained the problem. He asked a few additional questions for clarity. He indicated that he knew what the problem was (a faulty valve) and that it would take a day or so to pick up the part and bring with him. I called him on Monday and he folowed up with a call to meet me at my home on Wednesday morning. He was prompt and extremely professional. After completing the repair, he took the time to explain the problem, why it occurred, what I could have done to avoid leakage on the floor if that had occurred and gave advice on the mildew that he found behind the rubber ring of the drum. Then in the conversation, he mentioned that he worked on just about anything that Whirlpool made including ice dispensers. I seized this opportunity to describe the problem (freeze up) that I thought I was having with the a replacement dispenser in my Kenmore. What I really liked about this conversation is that he listened carefully to what I was saying to him and did not rush to judgement, even though he could see I was emotional about the 2-3 prior repairs on the unit. I told him what the prior service provider had conveyed that the next model refrigerator made after the one I have had been changed to correct the problem of the freeze up of the unit; in other words, that I would continue to have this problem because I purchased the wrong model. He indicated that a number of and quot;fixesand quot; were employed by Kenmore including i) putting in a stronger motor (but that broke the gears), ii) changing that model out with an upgraded model and iii) ultimately putting the ice maker in the door; however, he was clear that the upgraded ice maker made after a certain date should have fixed the problem. He then turned the unit back on again indicating that the unit wasn't frozen at the moment so he could not assess the issue (it was not frozen due to power outages experienced some time ago). He said that after it had begun to make ice and if I had any problem, to call him and he would come back out. He left but 2 minutes later called to see if he could come back and check on something (this tells me he was still thinking about what the problem might be). He came back and disassembled the ice maker to check the model and confirmed for himself that it was indeed the upgraded model. Again, he reset the unit with the advice that if it failed to work, just call him and he'd come out and reassess. The unit has worked ever since and he really didn't do anything to it. I was extremely impressed by the attention to detail and the focus on the problem but I was most impressed by his ability to calmly and carefully listen to the problem as I was describing it, a characteristic not often found with many service providers. [P.S. I had noticed that the front loader had stopped chiming when a load of wash was completed, but since this was such a minor issue I forgot to mention it to him. It now chimes, so I think he fixed that too; he just didn't mention it!]

I thought my washing machine needed repairs but the worker came to the conclusion that the work did not need to be done. They were very professional and honest. They also definitely new what they were doing.

If nothing else I know who to call if something does go wrong with one of my large appliances. Mitch is very professional and knowledgeable.

Went very well and icemaker is still working properly.

Mitch arrived when he said he would, got to work fast, and fixed the problem. My only regret is not figuring out how to do this myself and save myself some money. Parts were $65 and labor was $75.

Mitch Gravett checked my other refrigerator, explained why the freezer was not cold enough and adjusted the settings, apparently without charge. In the case of both freezers, he spent time explaining at length, the problem.

He returned my call promptly and was very courteous. He told me a specific time and showed up when he said he would. He also helped me out with my dishwasher at no extra charge. Now my HE3t is purring like a kitten once again. I love this company!!! I'm telling everyone about them/him.

THEY HAD EVERYTHING THEY WERE GOING TO NEED TO FIX MY DISHWASHER WITH THEM WHEN THEY SHOWED UP. THEY WERE VERY HONEST AND RELIABLE. THEY ALSO GOT THE JOB DONE IN A QUICK AMOUNT OF TIME. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

WHEN I NEED ONE OF MY LARGE APPLIANCES FIXED I ALWAYS CALL GRAVETT'S. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT AND THEY DO QUALITY WORK FOR A GOOD PRICE. I NEVER HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT WITH THEM.
