Empire Lawn Care

I was referred by a very reputable client of mine to Empire Lawn Care. I reached out to them, they gave me a quote. When I started asking if they had any pictures of their work that I could see they responded “no”. I thought that was strange given that they were an actual company and not just some random joe. I proceeded to ask how I could find them online so I could see their work and his tone changed. I could never find any pictures ANYWHERE! Despite not finding pictures, I still went ahead and asked him to do the job. I wasn’t getting any response to my questions about pictures or finding them online, and then I receive a text from him telling me to find someone else. I should be able to ask a company for pictures of their work if I’m wanting to hire them for a job don’t you think? I didn’t see anything wrong with that but apparently he did. I’m very disappointed and will NEVER inquire about their business again

We have used Nolberto a couple of times. He and his crew do a very good job and we will use him in the future.

Empire Lawn service arrives each week to mow and trim the front and back yards and gather up the leaves as needed in the fall. They will also remove small branches that fall after wind storms. For an extra fee, they aeriated and re-seeded my front lawn They also provide lawn irrigation service and landscaping but I cannot provide a review for these services.

This is the second time I've used Empire Lawn Service, and they did an excellent job again. Workers showed up within the time frame agreed upon, and my flowerbeds/shrubs look very nice and well groomed. Mr. Gonzalez remembered me from the last job (about 3 years ago) and gave me an estimate of how much it would cost, which came roughly the same amount. Even though this is his busy time of year, he got my small job done quickly and to my satisfaction. I will definitely use Empire again, and recommend his work to all those needing similar services.

Went very well. Always on time and shows when others wouldn't . Takes care of items outside just mowing and edging. Always charges a fair price. I have him come year round.

Nolber Gonzalez and his crew always are on time, on budget and do fantastic work. I am always treated fairly and everyone I've referred them to has been more than happy with Empire's work and prices. They are the best.

As promised, 3 men arrived on the scheduled day with the right equipment for the job (industrial blowers and truck/trailer). They very efficiently got all the leaves removed, and even did a little extra work in the front area per my request. Very professional! Will use again and would recommend to my friends.

must do something ok since I have now used them for several years for mowing and will continue to try to find a knowledgable person who will take care of my flower beds. In the meantime, I use Empire for it all.

I tried three other services before going with Empire. Getting those other services to show up was a challenge, especially if it rained at any time during the week (even on the days I wasn't scheduled). I once waited four weeks for a service to return - they never contacted me to say why they weren't coming, and then blamed "rain" when I texted them to ask what had happened. I picked Empire based on the reviews here, and have been using them ever since. They arrive every week at the same day and time, like clockwork. If it rains on that day, they show up afterward, as soon as they reasonably can. They're flexible with payments - they now bill me once a month, though I can pay them weekly if I want. They do a great job, and are in and out in no time. Very happy with them!

I use them every week for mowing my lawn. I have used them for the past 2 years. He takes care of both my home and business, and does a great job. I pay him every week that he comes, and am not on a contract. He will send me a bill, and then I pay him. The lawn is one flat fee, and if you want anything added on it comes as an extra cost. It is very easy to get a hold of them on the phone if I need to.

When I hired Nobler last fall to mow and leaf removal they did a good job. When I asked Nobler to lay sod and over-seed on March 21st of this year, I found that my landscaping logs had been damaged from the aerator machine. Then I noticed that part of my landscaping lights were not working. I called the company that installed the lights, they found that the below ground wire had been severed by Nobler when he installed a sprinkler head. He had tried to repair the wire unsuccessfully. Nobler never mentioned any damage! The sod was not done properly and had dead spots. If you want to use them for leaf removal and mowing, I think you might be okay, beyond that I would not take the chance!

Everything was great. Very punctual, did the job exactly as explained and priced very competitive. Norberto was very good to work with and had helpful solutions for our drainage problems. We plan on using for future jobs.

They removed a large amount of leaves, mowed the lawn and edged. They were very efficient and pleasant to do business with. I have had the same gardener for over eight years and I was very skeptical about hiring someone else to do my yard on a consistent basis. I lost my gardener because he completed his education and became a nurse, which he loves! I was so impressed with Empire lawn care, I hired them to take care of my property on a regular basis. I highly recommend these people!!!!!!!

See "What did the provider do" Very personable and professional. He even left a sprinkler for the house sitter to use since we were out of town. Great experience.

The first few months went well, very well. As it continued I noticed the attention to detail started to slip. I always paid on time, every time but when I would ask for something extra or suggest a preference of how I would like things done Nolbert would get very offended and tell me why I was wrong and it didn't need to be done then, or at all. Especially during the winter when I was still paying him $55 per week every week he refused to come out and find even a small thing to do. I asked for two months for him to re mulch the beds, finally I just did it myself. I had a great amount of patience because the work he did in the summer and fall was excellent. Eventually, he stopped calling every week and mowed several times after huge rainstorms and it left mud ruts all throughout my yard. When I brought it up he was defensive and said it was fine and would get better. But finally it was too much. Our last service he was mowing WHILE it was raining but told me the yard wasn't wet! (We had two inches of rain the day before) He also showed up without calling at 9am and my wife was woken up after having been at the hospital for almost 20 hours straight. I was very upset and confronted him very harshly. He stopped in the middle of mowing, quit and left the yard in a mess. I would recommend him for individual jobs, but be aware, he is very sensitive to anything he perceives as criticism or instruction of how to do the work (even though it is your yard) and I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE using him on a monthly contract basis. It is really too bad, because he was punctual and the work he did was mostly done well. No one is perfect, but he does things his way period. And that doesn't work for me when I have zero input on my yard and have spent over $10,000 in one year.

All work was done on time and on budget. Mr. Gonzales and his crew did a wonderful job in making my flowerbeds look great, and I really appreciated his keeping me in the loop every step of the way. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work. This is the first time I've used Empire Lawn Care, but not the last. I would recommend Empire highly.

They sent 2 people out do the job. They got the job done in one day in about 6-8 hours. The scheduling was great.
