DMI Restoration

We hired dmi for what turned out to be a small water leak. Richard Green blatantly lied to us about the extent of the damage. Quoted 1 price and after a week of service said he couldn’t complete the job as quoted Billed us for services not rendered.

Carpet in main room spelt mildewed and like a wet dog for days. Called DMI they said to give it a few days. We had windows and doors open to allow the capers to dry initially and they still took over 8 hours to fully dry. After a few days the smell remained. They returned out 2 weeks later to "reclean" the living room. Instead all he did was spray a terrible smelling "pet treatment" on the carpet that was so strong that we had to rent a rug doctor to get some of the smell out. The inital cleaning also left out carpet "crunchy". I would not recommend and would not use again.

Arrived early. Was very friendly. Cleaned the carpet very quickly.

I was working overseas when a water line ruptured in my condo. My HOA called in DMI in my absence. The flooding was extensive requiring the lifting of most of the carpeting throughout the condo. Water damage had extended through some of the drywall on the lower portions of the walls. This also required some removal. DMI was very thorough in the flood mitigation phase. When I returned home from my business trip the condo was completely dry. I was relieved to find my home furnishing carefully moved with smaller items placed in cardboard boxes. DMI handled the restoration. All of the work including the drywall and repair and flooring was of very high quality. They worked closely with my insurance provider. I really appreciated the close contact to keep me informed through all the steps especially when I was working overseas.
