Description of Work: I have used their services 3 times for my dishwasher. The first two times were fairly simple and problem of broken glass in drain line resolved promptly. This third time has been much more problematic. Day of first scheduled appointment I had to call at 3:30pm to make sure someone still coming. Owner Dana finally showed up shortly after 5pm. Told needed new inlet valve and would take apart back and find what was causing rattle when the new part installed. Part arrived and second appointment scheduled. Work team of 2 Showed up and replaced part, but dishwasher still not working. Told need new motor and rattle must be inside motor. Next day text, motor back ordered for 3 weeks. Discussed costs, and decided to replace instead. Scheduled for Thursday. 815 day of 3rd appointment/install receive text saying too icy to drive, so reschedule in a week. Start of winter storm URI, so very appropriate. I text at 9am day of the second install appointment to confirm delivering and no response. I call the main line at noon to confirm, and am told yes, your install is today. At 430 I call again and am told they are behind because of the week of cold/icy/snowy weather, so we reschedule for Saturday. At 915am on Saturday, the third install appointment I text to confirm install and no response. At 1pm I text again and am told it maybe Sunday, they are working hard to catch up. Owner Dana did apologize for the delay at that point. At noon on Sunday, I text again to confirm install finally happening on this fourth day of trying and no response. At 3pm I try again, and am told I think you are on the list, I will check. Now 6pm of the third day this week spent waiting ALL day for my dishwasher install and no dishwasher, no return call and no text. I totally understand running behind due to crazy weather for more than a week. I find the lack of honest communication very rude and inconsiderate. I have spent over 20 hours sitting around waiting for them this week. If they had simply said they were a week behind, I would have understood and rescheduled accordingly. Hand washing dishes for another week, not a big deal. Wasting 3 days of my time, a really big deal to me.

The first job went well and he came on time completing the work. I later found out that vent hood exhaust was installed not up to Tulsa code. Was professional on time for this job. Subsequent jobs he was always late. He came days to weeks after starting. He spent half the time on the job answering phone calls from his Bluetooth. I was charged by the hour but not compensated for the time he spent with other customers on the phone. I finally fired him from one of the last jobs as it took him months to complete the work. they work when completed was performed adequately. I called him again recently about replacing the vent hood due to a home fire and he again was a no call no show for performing the work. Some unprofessional comments and jokes were also made during his stay. I have subsequently switch to using Andy on call. He seems busy, possibly overworked and unable to handle his load and unable to complete work without multi-tasking other jobs. He often would work for 1 to 2 hours, state he needed more equipment/materials, then leave and go to another job. He charges for time to go get materials as well as drive time to return to the job.
Description of Work: I've used enough for multiple jobs: installing a custom closet work, range exhaust pipe, garage fan, back yard motion light and attempted home generator.

Description of Work: We really like Dana and the other men who have done work for us, but they just aren't always reliable. They will often not come until a day or two after they have assured me they would be there. Worse, when we have given them a list of things we needed done (because I am disabled, they have acted as sort of general handyman for us in addition to selling, repairing and maintaining appliances), they would do some of them then simply not return to do the others until we called again a few months later with another major problem. We understand that we have been asking them to do things far outside their usual work, but, so far as we know, we were billed at the same rate, and they never expressed any problem with that (although I do believe that the problems with disappearance and tardiness mentioned above have very possibly been related to these lesser tasks). Had they told us we needed to hire someone else for any type of work we would have done so without any resentment. |As for the cost of the work, Dana has sometimes waited months to bill us, but the bills never break down the costs of materials and labor, which is annoying.

Our Sub Zero was not cooling properly. I put ice in the unit overnite to protect the food. Mr. Cook came the next afternoon to repair. He had to install some valve and added freon. This may be a temporary fix, as we probably have a leak; but it is working for now. I believe Mr. Cook is a knowledgeable technician, though his prices seem a little high.
Description of Work: Freon was added to our Sub Zero refrigerator.

Our Bosch diswasher was not cleaning or rinsing properly. At the end of a cycle, detergent was still present in the dispenser and dishes were not clean. On 1-3-07, Mr. Cook replaced a valve. Parts, service call, and labor were $191.11. The dishwasher still did not clean properly. On 1-26-07, Mr. Cook replaced a control; total charge was $298.42. The operation of the dishwasher seemed improved at this time. However, nearly $500 in repair bills would have gone a long way toward a new dishwasher. We still are limping along with this Bosch today, Nov. 17, 2011. We basically wash our dishes before loading, and the dishwasher rinses them. Dana Cook is a pleasant person and seems to be knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Cook's Appliance Service replaced a valve and a control on our Bosch dishwasher.

The work completed was exemplary. The bigest problem was scheduling. Either I was not available or Mr. Cook was unavailable. Once we were able to get everything scheduled, the work was completed in a timely and excellent manner. A synopsis of the work is that I had three vending machine units that were not cooling. For each machine, Mr. Cook arrived at the location, placed a High & low pressure tap on the cooling system, recharged the system and then installed a chemical to stop any further leaks. All three machines are now working correctly and have been for more than two weeks. The cost to repair each machine was about $50.00 more than I was originally quoted. However, the original quote did not include leak prevention which cost over $100.00 per machine. I was very satisfied with Mr. Cooks expertise, work ethic and professionalism. I will utilize his company again for my future needs.
Description of Work: I had three refirgerator type vending machines that had stopped cooling. Mr. Cook came to each of the locations and recharged and sealed the units and all three now cool excellently.

I liked them. They were very responsive. They came out when they said they would. They were a little high on their price, but they got the job done. Overall, I was satisfied. I’ll probably use them again.

They come very quickly when you call them. I think they are very honest and reasonably priced. They are reliable. They do what they say they are going to do. I have used this company for about 15 years and I've always been satisfied with their service.
Description of Work: I have a front load washer, and the pump went out. They replaced the pump.
