Description of Work: Cleaned chimney, recommended that we fix a crack in the chimney and followed up with a letter to see if we wanted this service (we are choosing not to do it right now). There were some scheduling conflicts, we had to reschedule at first, and then they did not come to rescheduled time. When we called, they said they had changed the appointment to another time, but we did not receive this message. They worked with us to find a time that fit our schedule after this.

Description of Work: Cleaned very dirty chimney and firebox in a house being rehabilitated. Inspected fireplace and chimney. Installed chimney cap.

Description of Work: Cleaned hvac vents and cold air returns. It went well. Some people say no difference after this gets done, but we noticed a difference right away in air quality and less dust. However, we've also put appropriate filters on cold air returns now (not just at the furnace). I'd recommend these folks because they do more than just vacuum. I'm not sure they cleaned the furnace coil, as I didn't see them do that, but then I didn't observe every move they made, I trusted some that they cleaned all. I saw the dirt bin before and after and I feel better just knowing that amount of crap has been removed. Next step is to remove all dirty, ineffective, blown insulation from attic for which I may have this company do if not cost prohibitive and if I can then afford to replace it. Dust in your house does derive from outdoors, pets, gaps in cold air returns that suck in dirt from your attic...and attics are far dustier than you might realize. Supply vents in floor / slab also are deteriorating, yet another thing to address in the perpetual money pit. Last point: be sure you understand that you are charged " by vent " (opening) regardless of length and type.

Description of Work: Scheduling was very easy. Everyone from the scheduler to the ones who actually did the work were very professional. The ducts look very clean and makes the house smell fresher. The ducts were cleaned to improve the air quality, due to asthma. The one who lives in the house has seen a huge improvement in his asthma. I would highly recommend them to others.

Description of Work: company swept and inspected chimney. took great pains to eliiminate/extract the dust. very professional. 10 days later we had them go ahead with their recommended repairs to the chimney top figuring the cost for preventative maintenance will hopefully eliminate more costly repairs later. very pleased with work.
