Description of Work: I have a hand carved chest that my mom had made overseas. After she passed away I discovered that it needed quite a bit of repair work. This man LOVES what he does, he does fantastic work, he is the kindest and most honest, hardworking man around. He was so proud of the work he did for us and I would absolutely use him again. He also has the most interesting shop FULL of antiques. You could spend hours in there and not get bored. I can't say enough good about him. He told us it would be roughly 6 weeks but to be patient. It was 7 weeks and well worth the wait. It's like a brand new piece of furniture.

+ -1 moreHe loves wooden furniture. He is always excited to see a new piece and tell you what he can do with it. he told me it would take 2-4 weeks and it did. It is beautiful, sturdy and looks like it must have looked new. I not only recommend him he currently is working on a family curio from the 20's and a medical cabinet from the 50's for me.
Description of Work: Jim at Bix Antiques and Furniture Refinishing has done work for me for over 25 years. most recently a broken chair repair.
