Description of Work: The problems started immediately. They were dumping debris off of the house onto the flowerbeds. Not maintaining a clean worksite, i.e. not cleaning up everynight. Blocking the front door with a ladder, that could have been moved to another location so we could enter without the fear of something falling on our head. I had basically put up with too much of that for to long, but when it rained on the afternoon of 8/10 and the roof leaked, that is when I had enough. The roof was at that time supposedly weathered in at that point and they were starting to apply the shingles. But regardless that roof should have never leaked if it had been flashed and weathered in right and probably should have been tarped over before it started to rain anyway, they had plenty of time as you could see the storm building a long time prior to the rain. I am enclosing signed letters from the neighbors on either side of me as well as pictures of the debris that was left in my yard over the course of several days, as you will be able to see from some of the pictures that after the debris was finally removed on the afternoon of 8/10 that the grass under the debris has turned yellow. You will also see a tire that one of the workers threw onto the debris and that tire laid there for a several days. You will also find pictures of the ceiling upstairs where it leaked and downstairs where the wallpaper is peeling off because of the leak in the living room around the chimney staing our panelled cathedral ceiling and also an interior wall that is at the dormer seam/entry to living room. I am also enclosing the photo of the bottle of urine that was discovered in the yard. When they did start shingling they did not secure the guttering back with the guttering straps that should have been tacked up under the shingles and then the shingles applied. I have enclosed a photo of that also. This is most of the pictures, but I do have some more. Mostly from different angles and there are pictures of the swimming pool that is full of debris. As it all turned out it was probably a blessing in disguise that it rained that day because they could have finished shingling that roof and it most likely would have leaked in the future and then I would be filing another claim with my insurance company. There was also the problem of the communication/language barrier. I had asked the supervisor not to flash the front gable over the garage as I as wanting to replace some trim board before they applied the flashing. When I came home it had already been flashed.
