Bill Russell Plumbing

Bill Russell Plumbing send me a NON-ITEMIZED bill of services. I called Liz immediatly after I received the statement asking for an itemized bill. She said they don't do that, but would ask for the itemization in the business office and get back to me. I then received a bill with the following: $227.39 Materials $400.00 Labor $627.93 -62.74 Less courtesy reduction $564.65 I again called Liz and asked for an itemized statement, i.e., what were the materials used and costs, how much per hour are you charging and for how many hours? I explained that all businesses I work with (home and office) itemize so we know precisely what we are being charged and for what. This is not an uncommon practice. The price is not an issue here, I want to know what I'm paying for. Liz firmely explained that "they do not itemized." I was therefore left with the assumption that they are gouging me (and other customers) and therefore I WAS BEING OVER-CHARGED FOR BOTH MATERIALS AND LABOR. I wrote a check that day for the full amount, to move on, and explained to Liz that I would be writing the BBB and Angie's List with my complaints. As chairman of my homeowners' association I have advised our members NOT TO USE BILL RUSSELL PLUMBING. *My complaint is not with the plumper Jim, except for the incorrect hose cut n the lawn hose reel. He was professional, prompt and courteous.

They did a pretty good job and they got the job done.
