After purchasing a house out of state, I was on location for a short time to get the house ready to rent. It was quickly apparent that I needed an electrician to update and help make sense of the electrical system of the house. The electricians that others recommended were not available for a couple of weeks which was impossible for my schedule. Allen Barney of Barney's Electric had great reviews through HomeAdvisor and was available the next day to give me a free estimate. Allen and his son Cory, were prompt and took the time to explain the problems with the electric system of the house. Since time was critical and Barney's Electric was able to start the project the next day, I hired him. Allen has many years of experience, was very thorough, easy to contact and very approachable. The job was finished in a manner that exceeded my expectations. With the updating of the electrical system, I was going to have to take care of some drywall repair on the interior of the house, and brick repair on the exterior. Barney's Electric went above what was included in the estimate and took care of those repairs for me as well, which was a huge relief. They did everything they said they would do and more. It was a pleasure working with them and I'm grateful to have found an electrician that I can trust.
