Aladdin Flooring

Description of Work: Aladdin Flooring removed the carpet and pad in our bedroom. They smoothed the surface of the concrete, removed the trim molding and prepared the floor. Then they installed an engineered wood floor, replaced the molding, and added wood trim finish where the wood flooring meets the tile.

Description of Work: Jeff installed a new hardwood floor over a concrete slab in my study.

Description of Work: Great company....I just used them to give me an estimate, but decided not to go through with the purchase of that home. Otherwise they were very professional and offered a GREAT price. When I need flooring, I will contact them again!!

Description of Work: I asked Jeff to come in and lay new hardwood floors that would match the old original floors in the rest of the house. He removed the old carpet, laid the new floors and stained everything to be an almost perfect match with the old floors.

Description of Work: The services performed were tearing up an old section of the wooden floors in my master bedroom that were done incorrectly by someone else. Jeff tore up the floor, re-sanded the wood and then put a new stain onto the floor.

Description of Work: Jeff and David of Aladdin Flooring were called in to fix a botched prefinished hardwood flooring installation by another local hardwood flooring company. Aladdin finished the install, and because of inferior flooring product and issues with the original install, they sanded and refinished the flooring. They were able to turn a bad flooring installation into a beautiful floor through their expertise in the installation and finishing of hard wood floors. Thanks to Angie's list I found these guys.

Description of Work: Aladdin Flooring refinished our hardwood floor in living area, powder bath, kitchen and office. We had quotes from 2 other floor refinishers while the total cost from all three was comparable we elected to use Jeff Witt and Aladdin flooring. He really does have a passion for his work and a determination to do the best job possible. For example he is the only contractor who said that he would remove and reseat the toilet in the powder bath at no extra cost to be sure the floor was well finished and also move and refinish under the fridge which others were not going to bother with. He was also the only contractor who advocated using a water based rather than oil based sealer. He did use an oil based stain which had a richer color than water based. Jeff went against the trend to recommended a satin rather than semi gloss finish specifically because we have a large dog with very scratchy claws and he said it was hold up better over time. While we cleared most of the furniture out of the way for him he did also offer to deal with a heavy filing cabinet which was much appreciated . I had to leave an Internet phone for work operational in the office and Jeff took a great deal of trouble to protect it and work around it We decided to get our metal floor vents replaced with flat wood ones that look great. That did add to the overall coast of the job. We also elected to get the work done while we were on vacation since so much of the house was affected.

Description of Work: Aladdin Flooring bleached and cleaned the kitchen floor and put down a water proof spray on the basement floor.
