Prompt, professional service. I've lived in the house 8 years and have never had the chimney cleaned. We burn about 1/2 rick of wood each winter. He inspected the fireplace and chimney inside and on roof and said it was dirty but not dangerously dirty. He cleaned it all out and was on his way. I didn't get quotes from other services, I just went with the most local company. I felt the price was fair for the work performed.

Our chimney hadn't been cleaned for about five years and I was concerned about the amount of creosote that was building up inside the chimney. I cleaned and vacuumed the fireplace prior to inspection for my personal inspection, where upon I found the creosote build up. I believe that the technician did a responsible inspection and discussed his findings on the creosote after I questioned him. I was told the the creosote build up had to be significantly thicker to cause a fire hazard, but was not sure how much thicker. That the cracks and missing mortar inside the fireplace were not significant, but I did have the proper caulk to repair them. It appears to me that fireplace safety is more of an art than a science, but I did come away from the experiencing feeling better about my fireplace and will repair the cracks with Rutland's Fireplace Mortar. So, with the wide spread in the price of fireplace cleaning and inspections this company was among the higher priced. To me the cost was worth the peace of mind by being able to discuss the fireplace condition with a person whose knowledge I respected. In the past I had a technician who did little more than go thru the motions, check off the inspection form, and drive away.

Great experience with this company. I called in for a quote and the gentleman told me that they had a cancellation in their books and could come the following day.The crew arrived on time and performed all services requested. I asked them about the need for cleaning the ducts in the basement, they looked at them and said that I didn't need it. How about that for honesty! The large hose they used put a couple stains on the stair carpet. When I asked about it they cleaned it immediately. I was very pleased with their services and would recommend them.

The price was not bad for what they did. I would use them again if needed.

THEIR PRICES WERE FAIR, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS ACCEPTABLE, MY AIR CONDITIONER WORKS VERY WELL NOW.
