ADT Security Services

They are always responsive as to alarm incidents. They have cut back on their service which is included with the service contract. Previously the service contract included sending a technician to assist with changing batteries and such. They have stopped this and sometimes it is an easy chore to change a battery but other times it is not. The problems are for motion detectors that are either close to the ceiling and require climbing a ladder and changing the system battery which requires disconnecting the A/C plug in the ceiling (which is screwed to the switch plate and the plate must be removed). This is difficult due to health issues but my understanding is that if they send a technician you are charged. The monthly fee is already high enough.

Called ADT at 918-948-8651 - went directly to recording. I entered the prompts for a new customer moving into a home with an existing ADT system and wanting to start service. I was on hold for over 8 minutes before a live person came on the phone. If it takes that long for a potential customer to get someone on the phone, how long would it take for an existing customer to get assistance. I told the rep as much and clearly have decided to not even bother with having ADT as my home security monitor.

They are fine and the system works.

Damaged wall while installing new equipment. Refuse to repair damage. Old control panel failed. ADT said new one was required. Came in to replace. (it took several days for the first service call to find out the panel couldn't be replace. It took a day to replace the old one as it involved a new long term contract. Go figure). While there, the service guy informed me that he would be leaving a hole in a wall and it would not be repaired - per policy. What was I going to do. Kick him out and go shopping for a new service provider? I figured it would work out in the end. After telling me that the repair would not be made per their contract, they paid for the repair. They are still telling me that they won't let me out of the contract. after their first response, not much credibility there.I want out of the contract because or remarkably poor treatment of a 20 year customer. As I look at this and other web sites, it is clear that customer satisfaction is not high on ADT's priority list. I can see why.

We left them because they never came and serviced. They never offered to change out a battery. They kept raising our rates and I did not like that. There was a continuing clause and after three years of service it automatically renews itself for a year at a time. With that, the rates continue to raise. When I called I would get foreign people and we would have trouble understanding one another and that was very frustrating. I was not satisfied with my service at all. I thought it was very poor business. The only thing they did positive for me was to let me out of the contract. I have not been impressed with them at all.

This system that was installed was a high tech security system. We were disappointed to find out that no matter how sophisticated your system is it is only as good as the people monitoring it. ADT had a very lousy response time to our knowledge we only found this out when it was needed. Also after some research we were surprised to find out that their services were overpriced.

ADT provides me with good services. I can not think of a problematic incident I have experienced with them. I would have to say I feel satisfied in general with their services.

We were extremely satisfied with the customer service and on site service of this company. The people we dealt with were professional, informative and very interested in making sure our home was completely secure.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR NEEDS AND FRIENDLY. THEY CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE RIGHT AWAY TO INSTALL THE NEW SYSTEM. I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL WITH THE NEW SYSTEM.

THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT JOB. THEY WERE VERY KIND AND COURTEOUS WHILE PROVIDING SERVICES. THE SECURITY SYSTEM IS WORKING GREAT AND IS OF EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY.

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE AND PROMPT. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY DID A QUALITY JOB. WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS SINCE THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED.

THEY GOT HERE ON TIME TO START WORKING. THE PRICES ARE A "LITTLE" HIGH, BUT THE SERVICES ARE WONDERFUL. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND THEY ALWAYS MAKE SURE WE ARE SATISFIED.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD ABOUT RESPONDING TO A CALL AND CHECKING TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS OKAY. THEY TAKE THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND THEY'RE VERY FRIENDLY.

THIS COMPANY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, REAL FRIENDLY, AND HELPFUL. THEY EXPLAINED IN DETAIL ABOUT THE SYSTEM. I CAN SAY I FEEL SAFE WITH THIS SYSTEM INSTALLED .

THESE GUYS DO NOT PLAY WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR JOB. THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE AND HAVE A WONDERFUL PRODUCT. AFTER THEY WERE DONE WITH THE INSTALLATION, THEY MADE SURE WE KNEW HOW EVERYTHING OPERATED.

THEY MADE SURE THAT I COULD RUN THE SYSTEM BY MYSELF AT HOME ONCE THEY WERE DONE INSTALLING IT. THEY ARE ALSO VERY GOOD ABOUT RESPONDING TO YOUR CALLS.

I LIKE HOW QUICKLY THEY GOT OUT AND STARTED THE JOB. I FEEL SAFE WHILE I AM IN MY HOME. IT DID NOT TAKE THEM ANY LONGER THAN HALF AN HOUR TO COMPLETE THE JOB. IT WAS QUALITY WORK.

I AM HAPPY WITH THE ALARM SYSTEM THEY INSTALLED. I FEEL SAFE IN MY HOME AND I DO NOT WORRY WHILE I'M AWAY. I HAVE IT MONITORED MONTHLY SO I HAVE NO PROBLEMS.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. AFTER HAVING A PREVIOUS ROBBERY THEIR SIGN IN MY YARD HAS DETERRED FUTURE BURGLARS. I AM GREATLY SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND QUALITY.

THEY CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE RIGHT AWAY AFTER WE CALLED BECAUSE WE WERE HAVING A FEW PROBLEMS WITH OUR SYSTEM. THEY REALLY DO EXCELLENT SERVICE AND I REALLY ENJOY THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I FEEL SAFE IN MY HOME NOW AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SECURITY SYSTEM SINCE THEY DID A GREAT JOB. I AM HAPPY WITH THE SYSTEM I HAD INSTALLED AND THAT IT ONLY TOOK ONE DAY TO COMPLETE THIS JOB.

I DON'T THINK THAT THEIR SERVICE WAS WORTH LESS THAN I WAS CHARGED. THEY DO QUALITY WORK THOUGH. THEY DID A GOOD JOB INSTALLING MY SYSTEM VERY QUICKLY AND DIDN'T LEAVE ANY MESSES.

THEY CAME IN AT THE RIGHT TIME AND DID A GOOD JOB. THE WORK WAS DONE FAST, AND THEY LEFT NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES ON THE WALLS FROM THE INSTALLATION OF MY SYSTEM. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE MUCH, BUT I WOULDN'T CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

THEY DID REALLY GREAT WORK AND THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY WHEN WE CALL TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR SYSTEM. THEY DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP AND MAKING SURE WE KNEW HOW TO RUN THE SYSTEM.

THEY LET ME AND MY WIFE KNOW EXACTLY HOW OUR ALARMS WORKED. THEY TOLD US THAT IF WE EVER NEED HELP TO CALL THEM. THEY EVEN CALL TO CHECK ON US SOMETIMES.
