The job that was done for me was very difficult but the gentleman that did the job did a great job!

It was a great experience. Didn't know what to expect but the repair to my wall was undetectable and they did an amazing job in a short time. I am definitely hiring A1 again should the need arise!

Amazing service! I had two holes fixed for only $180 and it took under and hour to repair both. Same day too! I highly recommend!

We went on Angi to look for someone to repair our living room ceiling that caved in from a water pipe break. The kitchen ceiling had water damage that needed to be repaired as well. We reached out to 2 places on Angi. We decided to use A1 painting and drywall. He was very assuring that he could do the job well. The description of what he will do that he wrote for us is as follows: Square and cut ceiling Sheetrock in living room and kitchen. Will remove upper kitchen cabinets to replace Sheetrock and rehang after repairs. Even tho not listed he had to remove the microwave and put it back as well. Install attic insulation Pink Panther Hang new Sheetrock mud and tape Apply popcorn ceiling to match existing popcorn texture Paint white to match ceiling 1st day of work seemed to go ok. We stayed in another room to stay out of his way. He worked all day. 2nd day of work was finishing up. He let us know he was done, we paid him and he left. We started looking around at the work and found several things that we were not happy with. In the kitchen he did not rehang the cabinets where they originally were which left a gap between the ceiling and the top of the cabinets. When we opened the cabinets there were 2 places where he split the wood and there were empty holes where some screws were supposed to be. I actually found 3 of those screws on the garage floor. His solution for the damaged cabinets was to fill with putty and â  try to match the colourâ  . That would not have been possible because the cabinets are not painted they are a Smokey grey stain. He could offer no solution for the missing screws and why some on the garage floor. When he put the microwave back he did not put it in the bracket correctly so it was not level and the door would not stay open. The living room ceiling was not square . There are 4 distinct seams going in different directions. Looks awful. The popcorn he put up definitely does not even come close to matching the existing popcorn. We found out that he did not install the insulation in either place and he did not wrap the pipes. We called him to set a day and time for him to come back so we could discuss these problems. He said he come the next day at 5:00 pm. He never came and he never called to say he couldnâ  t come. So we called him the next day and said he could come at 3:00 pm. He did come this time. We went over everything with him. He offered to put the insulation in while he was here. We asked him why he didnâ  t put it in while he was here working. I really think he thought we would never know. He did offer to reshoot the living room ceiling. It was more than obvious it did not come close to matching. We asked him to replace the cabinet. He was not willing to to do that. He told us thatâ  s what we get for buying cheap junky cabinets. They were not cheap but even if they were why would he say that. With all the things that were not done correctly and him saying that about the cabinets we didnâ  t want to have him do anything else in our house. We definitely would never hire him again or recommend him.

They responded quickly from the time I reached out to them to the time they showed up for the job. They were on time and finished in a timely manner. The result was very satisfactory and the price was right. I will definitely use them again for any drywall work in the future. I would also recommend them to anyone in need of quality drywall repair.

Andy and his crew were great, He painted the whole house including the ceilings. Re-staind all the wood work, hung three doors. Heartbroken when the leg on my flea market table pulled away from the base. Discovered it had been previously broken and POORLY repaired. Now, good as new. Andre was efficient, polite and right on time!! Thank you Andre for reparing my table that I luv !!

Hired Andy for 4 jobs (remove and replace sheetrock and paint; lay laminate flooring; paint a room and install baseboards, caulk and paint them) and he didn't finish one job. The first job, Drywall replacement and paint, he almost finished. There is one small portion of wall that he was to repair and have ready to paint and I was going to paint it. He replaced the drywall but it only has one layer of mud over the tape. I brought this to his attention when he left and he stated he would finish the job when he came back to install the flooring. I was fine with that. He also painted the bathroom and laundry room which are the rooms the sheetrock had to be replaced in. There were some spots missed, he did not remove any nails or fill the holes, he just painted over them. There was a little paint left and figured I could touch up with it, but shouldn't have to. A couple of weeks later he came back to install flooring and paint one room and the ceiling. My wife decided she liked the color we picked for bathroom and laundry room so I purchases another can of the same mixed color. One gallon was plenty for the smallest bedroom in the house. Andy used the rest of the first gallon to cut in in the room. Then used the new can to do the rest. Well this left me with no paint to touch up my laundry room and bathroom with and the second can I bought was obviously a shade darker and this is not uncommon with mixed colors. I brought this to Andy's attention and sent him pictures. He didn't offer to make it right. I ended up having to buy another gallon of paint and repaint the walls myself to make it right. The flooring had gaps between it and the walls that a normal baseboard would not cover it a lot of places. And in places that this should be a problem. When I brought this to his attention he did offer to buy quarter round himself to cover what and where the baseboards wouldn't cover. I was OK with this. The night before the baseboards were to be done, I informed Andy that if they wanted to fill in the gaps with pieces of flooring they could do this. I was told that a person was going to be there to install the baseboards and a person going behind them to caulk and paint. Only one person showed up and he was there to install the baseboards, which he did and did a good job although he did forget 1 closet. Andy called me later that morning and said he would have someone at my house the next morning to paint and caulk. I reluctantly said OK. This was on 11/23, 2 days before Thanksgiving. At 10:00 pm he text me and said they couldn't make it and said he would be there Saturday. I told him that was unacceptable and that I really needed it finished because we were hosting festivities on Thanksgiving. He then said he would have someone there. As we talked a little more about exactly what needed to be completed, he changed his mind and said he wanted to do it on a day he could be there. I told him that I had requested him come look at everything and that he hadn't done it. I asked him if he, himself, could come tomorrow and I've never heard back from him. He did not show up on Saturday nor has he reached out to me to make things right. There's more to this story such as phone calls and other texts telling me when someone was going to show up and didn't. The person who did the flooring pulled up carpet in the door ways into those rooms because the hallway was laminate. I assume this is because they were supposed to install the transition pieces from flooring to carpet, which didn't get done either.

Got a call from Andy very quickly. He was able to give me a quote over the phone by me sending pics of the project which was painting our island and vent hood. He told me he could be done in 2 half days of work and could do it in a few days which I was happy about. He quoted me $550 plus paint. I wanted it done before painters came to paint the walls so I agreed! Everything was fine. He and his worker were very pleasant. They came one afternoon and he took the cabinets and doors with him to paint in his shop. His worker stayed behind and taped off the kitchen for the next days prep. All good. I asked to have the receipt for paint payment and he provided. No problem there. The paint looked great. I was so happy with it. However, I have to knock off some stars for a couple of reasons. 1) there are spots on my wall that now have blue paint. This is less of an issue because my walls are about to be painted, but if not, it would have been a bigger issue. 2) I just realized that he painted the drawers and doors of the island with all of the brackets still in place- meaning he painted the metal slides. Now, when I open the drawers, theres resistance and the brackets are scratching the paint off. I have paint flakes coming off but also, my brackets and sliders are ruined unless im able to remove them myself, soak them in paint thinner or something that will remove them or just replace them all together. I will also need to touch up the paint. Thats a disappointment for a $650 paint job.

Andy and his son just completed a project for us. They removed popcorn and painted the ceiling in a bathroom (part of which was 18' high) and painted that bathroom. The cost was less than other quotes we received. Since we were on a roll, we also had him refinish our front and back doors with stain and paint and install a grab bar. They were great to work with, Andy returns calls promptly and arrived when he said he'd be here. We're pleased with the job and would recommend them both.

Andy and Andy Jr. did a good job on the ceiling in our spare room/office, closets and garage, taking out the popcorn ceiling, repairing ceiling and painting. Also, they painted, added hardware to closet doors and barn door and install. They did a create job on those, they look great so does the room. I have to say Andy called me right away, he did not catch me the first time, but called the next morning early and came out when he said he was going too, to review the project. Andy Jr. who helps his dad, has a great working ethic for being so young. Overall, I was very happy with the job done, I have already recommended him to neighbors.

They did the job quickly and professionally.

On time, listened to what I needed done. Initial bid was a great price but went up after really seeing what was needed to be done. I also added some more work but thought the added cost was a little high. I had to do some sanding in some areas and fill some tiny pin holes later which I wasnâ t happy about. Could have better attention to detail. He did show me how to mix drywall mud and primer paint to put a slight texture on the drywall for painting which was great. I would recommend.

This team was amazing. The communication was perfect. They kept their word, were always on time, and completed the project perfectly. The men were polite, professional and competent. They replaced entirely a formal dining room ceiling due to a water pipe break. This included tearing out all sheetrock, replacing insulation as needed, adding new sheetrock, texturing, painting, reattaching all crown molding, caulking and painting. The room was entirely contained in plastic and paper so the walls and floors were not damaged. They cleaned everything up after the project was completed. I would recommend this pro to anyone.

The gentlemen from this company are extremely polite and considerate. They did an absolutely amazing job stripping and staining the louver doors in my kitchen. I am beyond impressed with the excellence of their work. Also the turnaround for completing the doors was very quick!
