A-1 Real Wood Floors

A-1 Real Wood Floors did an excellent job. We went from a light blonde to an Antique Brown stain and my house looks absolutely amazing. The quarter round, after I painted it, looks like it was original to the house. I appreciate their attention to detail and how clean they worked. I highly recommend Al & his family.

Al and his crew were able to repair water damage to my floor and match the other rooms without having to refinish my entire house. The decrease in dust was amazing! The floors look better than they did originally. I am so happy with their work.

Excellent. Al, his son Jose and rest of his team removed all the carpet, padding and gameroom cabinets from 3 rooms on the 2nd floor and removed carpet from stairs leading to second floor (after the landing). They installed new oak wood stairs and flooring and matched existing stain color. Very happy with their work and professionalism. They were very clean, on time and did not charge a penny over their estimate. I am happy to recommend A1 Wood Floors and plan to use them again for another project.

This is my second time working with this company and they are great! I had them refinish all the floors in my house three years ago and just had them back out to repair/replace the floors in a burned room. Al are very responsive and they show up when they say they are going to.

This is the second time we have had work done by A-1 Real Wood Floors. Once at our home and more recently at our office. The work has turned out beautifully both times. I have enjoyed working with Al, his wife, and his son. I find Al to be straightforward in giving a bid, scheduling the work, and sending me texts with lead time before he arrives. He has a very efficient dust collecting machine for the sanding part of the job. There is of course some dusting afterwards, but it is minimal. I give A-1 a top rating and would definitely call them again as well as recommend their work.

Very well. I couldn't ask for a better job. They didn't rush things as they wanted to make sure the wood acclimated to the temperature and humidity of our home before installation to avoid future buckling. In the end, it proved that good things are worth waiting for! These people aren't just your average floor installers, they are craftsmen. Very meticulous with the details of their work. Plus, they did extra things like removing quarter round molding from unseen spaces(like the stove and refrigerator cavities) and custom cutting it to fit in other spaces where it really made things look much nicer! Can't beat that!

The quotation was fair enough in the eyes of the insurance company that they didn’t request a competing quote (I had to get 3 for the plumber, if that tells you anything). And A1 didn’t go over budget at all. And the hardwood floors look fantastic. It was a repair due to water damage and the floors look better than ever. Al was very responsive, a great communicator. The guys finished a couple of days ahead of schedule. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Al and his sons are amazing! They are very responsive to phone calls, on time, courteous, and wonderful to have in your home. They took their time and made sure everything was exactly right. No skipping steps. Cleaned up everything (although they never made a mess). They have so much knowledge and skill and it shows. We are so happy with our beautiful wood floors!

From start to finish, my experience with A1 Real Wood Floors was exceptional. As owners of multiple investment properties, we are continually contracting with various types of tradesmen and contractors for nearly everything you can imagine, including tiling, painting, finish carpentry...the list goes on and on. Our experience with Al and his team has set the high water mark, the benchmark for professionalism, punctuality, attention to detail and quality of work. I speak from much experience when I say that this company is exemplary, and the overall value they provided (in terms of quality of work relative to price) was par excellence. We hired them for part one of a three-part whole-house renovation in order to get a sense for the quality of work they did. Outstanding results. They will be our first choice for all future wood floor projects. My only complaint is that they don't do every other type of work including tiling, painting, landscaping, and other such projects. We would likely hire them to do every type of work. Highly recommend Al and his team at A1 for anything related to wood flooring.
