We were furious to learn that the Provider instead found two college undergrads to move in to our $275K home - not a guaranteed "professional couple" with appropriate home furnishings. Their furniture was tacky and ill-placed. Some of the beds didn't have headboards and some of the furniture was that of an "average college kid," CERTAINLY not the style or quality to be found in a home such as ours in otherwise mint condition. The Provider charged the boys RENT, thereby capitalizing on our "loss" while she only stood to gain. Later we found out a third boy had moved in! Provider had cable company drill holes in walls to install cable without our permission! When we called to discuss the problems Provider was evasive and even hung up on our daughter who once called on our behalf. Realtors showing the home stated on several occasions the oven and sink were filthy. Some beds were not made. The landscaping perished for lack of maintenance, as was also promised contractually - to be performed by the "Caretakers." When we tried to cancel the contract she threatened to charge us an early cancellation FEE! Ultimately, and with the help of our adult children, we were able to cancel the agreement BUT not before we had to have all the locks rekeyed at OUR expense! We also found the toilet had been broken, the garage door opener had been "lost," and the neighbors said several large parties had been had in our house during the several months time the supposed Caretakers were living there. We were just furious by ALL of this! How dare she allow kids to live in a middle- to upper-middle-class home that is one the market and needs to look its very very best! She fulfilled NOT ONE guaranteed service!! This woman and her service seem to be a total SHAM. She preys on the trusting elderly and then makes money at their expense under the guise of staging homes for sale! BEWARE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WOMAN AND HER COMPANY.
