A-1 FENCE CO

I have to say that I was totally blown away by A-1 Fence Co. I called them out to give me a quote on installing a small fence in my frint yard to hold our son from going into the street after receiving the quote of $775.00 which was much cheaper then any other bids I got I told them do proceed with the project. The next week they came out and installed the fence and gates, when they finished and we were ready to pay them they informed me that they was not charging me anything, that it was an early Christmas present. I could not believe they were serious, but they loaded their tools and left, it is so nice to see that there us good hearted companies out there, forget what bad reviews you read about them, companies like that are sure to be busy so be patience and wait you wont regret it. A-1 Fence helped us with a very pesty neighbor by installing a 6 foot privacy cedar fence , were very pleased and would have them install more thank you

Excellent job by A-1 fence co, best Price from 3 quotes I got, plus the quality of the materials were far better than the others these boards were measuring almost a full 1 inch thick compared to the much thinner boards the other companies used, they did a great job and were very professional and built the fence really quick with no headaches.

My father needed a new fence badly, and after getting bids, he chose this company; taking them at their word of a timely fence build. It took the company a month to put up the fence. After he signed the contract, he was told it would be a week before they could get out to start. Approximately 2 and a half weeks later they showed. After they laid concrete for the posts, they said they would be back in one to two days; they didn't show for yet another week. and a half. After thinking that these people may be taking a senior citizen for a ride, I looked them up on BBB.com. Sure enough, one review and it was awful. Everything happening to us, happened to the reviewer. This company does not return phone calls at all, they do not call to tell you of delays either. We had to call them and they did not respond; however, when you threatened to go to someone else and void the contract, that's when you would hear something. I finally had enough on 3 weeks of waiting on a fence to be built and called, and was floored at how rude the lady (wife) was to me. I decided to play my neighbor who has rabbits and one had already vanished so we didn't want the other two to do the same. I was nothing but nice to this woman, just asking questions; her responses to me were "He's going to try this week" and when I asked could she guarantee that she said "There are no guarantees in life", then "We don't work for you, so I don't have to talk to you." and then hung up on me. She then called my father back and said that the "neighbor" had given her a hard time and 'tattled' then told him some sob story of how she was in the hospital for so long and blah blah blah, all of which was a total lie because of the timing of her call. After a month, we have the fence, and thankfully none of the animals we all have are missing or hurt. The fence itself is sturdy, but could have been done better around a tree base. Oh, and the guy decided to start at 630 in the morning on a Saturday, so the neighbors were not too happy. Do NOT use this company, it is not worth the time or money. We should have spent the extra 100 bucks and went with the other company who would of had the fence up in 2 days.
