Never showed up and never called. Finally got a hold of them again the day after they were supposed to show up. Communication was an issue. The person answering the phone didn't know anything.

I contacted them weeks ago to get an estimate for sewer repair. They returned my call several weeks later to ask what I needed. They took my information & told me they would get back to me with an estimate. After waiting several more weeks to hear from them, I called Donnie & left a message asking if they had my estimate or if they weren’t interested in doing the job. He never even had the courtesy to return my call. If their work is anything like their customer service...BEWARE!!!

The tech was very polite and on time. I was charged more than $400 to run a camera through the lines and told I needed a backflow valve at an estimated cost of $3,600. I asked another company to come out, and they ran a camera for free. They said I do not need a backflow valve but if I wanted one it would be $800. Ended up I needed new toilets (holes underneath the rim were mostly clogged), which were never mentioned by the first tech.

Terrible. This company was a waste of my time and money.
Description of Work: I needed a price quote on fixing water pressure in a bathroom. The serviceman who arrived was pleasant and helpful but had to call "Gary" who ran the operation in order to get a quote on a repair. Even though Gary never made the effort to inspect the job, he phoned-in a quote that was an esimtate "somewhere between $1,000 to $3,000." Gary couldn't and wouldn't be more specific. Gary was insistent, however, that I be charged $139.00 even though no work was done whatsoever. They did nothing and my problem remained. I think this outfit is just about running-up charges.

They were courteous and diligent about their service. They actually came and serviced me yet I live in the middle of no where. I was hard to find. It was a same day service. It was good quality and good workmanship.

I was really happy with their service-another plumber had been out and attempted to repair the drip almost 3 weeks before-but it had to be replaced , and he needed to get the part- he returned once with the wrong part and then I waited for 2 weeks , calling and being told he would be there, but he never showed up. This was being done through my home warranty service, so I finally asked them to send someone else. Roto Rooter was there the next morning and had the problem fixed within an hour. They also were about $60.00 cheaper than the other guys had quoted.

For the most part, I thought Roto-Rooter did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem and fixing it. The lead plumber, Dennis, was very professional and pleasant. He worked his butt off from the time he came until he left at dark. My only problem was that the final bill was twice as much as the initial estimate. In addition to being thousands higher than their original estimate, the final bill included an undescribed item for $2,000 which I asked about. I was told it was for the $2,000 "they saved me" for using their equipment for which I had already paid $250 per hour in the billing. While I was very pleased with the overall quality of the service, I would strongly recommend that you get a firm bid on the work before letting them proceed. For me, I got a $5,000 shock when they totaled the bill. Don't let that happen to you.
Description of Work: I called Roto-Rooter to clean a floor drain in my basement and wound up getting my entire sewer line replaced from the house to the city's connection because of two breaks in the line.

I called Roto Rooter because my toilet was backing up, I had another plumber there just a week before that spent 5 minutes and didn't fix the problem and wouldn't come back to fix it when I called them back. So Roto Rooter came out and not only fixed the problem but suggested things I could do to prevent it from happening again. He said that with the age of my home and the pipework that I had, clogs and leaks are very common but not inevitable if do a few simple things. They were so friendly and professional, I am a customer for life!
Description of Work: They fixed my toilet from backing up and gave me useful tips for the rest of my house.
