D & E Construction-Dirt Work, Concrete, etc

Prompt on arrival & on date & time promised.Good workersPricing for jobs was in acceptable range (Sorry but I can't remember date or price of job-it was too long ago).Did great job filling concrete around pool deckingWe asked for top grade top soil. We received fill dirt with lots of small to medium rocks (Was'nt noticed until dirt had settled & dried--very disappointed!!).Re-roofing shed: Looked great BUT...the first wind we had blew a lot of shingles off. They did return when we called them & they did replace lost shingles at no charge.They did reinforce shingles.They did install/hang sliding screen door to patio BUT, they butchered the wood facing around the door leaving LARGE gaps where insects, snakes & anything else could enter our home if sliding glass door was not kept closed. Very disappointed in that job!!!!!

We were SO HAPPY to find D & E Construction (family owned & operated). We had previously called a few other contractors about our "pool problem". Their solution was to bring in loads of dirt and shovel the dirt beneath the pool deck BY HAND! One contractor even admitted he didn't know how to fix our problem. THEN we found D & E CONSTRUCTION by word of mouth, called them, they came within 2 hours of our call and in 5 minutes had our "pool problem" figured out....pump a concrete mixture beneath the deck--- & the estimate of having it done was less than any of the previous contractors we had called. We set a date & time for the job and bright & early on the day the work was to be done, they were at our home as promised. They also used top soil to place around the pool deck area so the concrete would not be seen. We can now landscape around our pool. The work and their conduct was done with great professionalism and with a genuine smile on their faces. They take great pride in doing a job the RIGHT WAY. No cutting corners and no price gouging. And, they didn't ask to be paid until we were completely satisfied! Actually, they asked us several times if we were satisfied with the results. Needless to say, we had them re roof our storage shed (they left NO mess behind). And do our patio door. We intend to have them do some dirt work for us after the Spring rains are over. If you want an HONEST company who believes that a "handshake is as good as your word" (When was the last time you heard that?) then call D & E Construction--They'll treat you like "family". They do Commercial & Residential work. And they do a lot more than just concrete & dirt work. Give them a try (918-864-3385). You won't be disappointed!
