Reece Flooring

It looked fair after the work was done. Some of the grout wasn't done well. I touched up the grout. Four years after the work was done, the grout around the drain started to break up, and one of the tiles was broken. I pulled up those tiles and the cause was obvious. There was no morter on the back of these tiles and they were loose. Six tiles had been laid after the morter had started to cure. One of these was broken. There were some spare tiles left, and I decided to fix it. Reece Flooring offered to do the repairs, but it would have been at least three weeks before they could get to it, and I really don't trust them to do it correctly.

The work was done in a Daycare Center, requiring the work to be mostly done on the weekend and during non-business hours. They came out Saturday morning to look at the job and to see what was to be done. Plans were made to provide the cement to level the cracked and uneven floor. Supplies were delivered and the work was to be started on Sunday morning. Knowing that the Center had to be open and the bathroom functional by business hours on Monday, Reece Tile sent two really super nice, professional, installers out to start on the work. The floor was so un level parts of the floor had to be built up about three inches on one side and one corner was level already with the adjoining room. The floor was in such bad shape they had to leave for more materials to fill in to feather out the cement before the tile could even start to be laid. The original job was going to take approximately 5-6 hours, but when the installers started on the project, they realized that there was more to my uneven floor than they had originally realized. The installers worked into the late evening to accommodate getting the floor and the room ready for occupancy by Monday morning. It was impossible to get 2-3 inches of cement all leveled out and dried before the tile could be laid. At that point, we knew it was not going be usable come Monday morning. Reece Tile did get the bathroom tile laid, but the tile was not set enough for them to start the grouting process. The guys came in early Monday morning to grout the bathroom, so that we could use it that day with the children. Late Monday afternoon the guys came back to start laying the tile on the hardened cement. This process took several hours, they worked until late in the night, after 11 p.m. The guys knew I had to have this room in my Center and worked around my schedule to get it done as soon as humanly possible. These guys were awesome. They showed up again on Tuesday morning and starting in with the grouting process and again spent hours leveling and perfecting the design so that it was completed in the most professional way possible. The job looks awesome, these guys took time away from their families to accommodate the difficult task of getting all this work done in the safest way during the time my business was open and went out of their way to work late into the night to finish this project, What was suppose to have been a easy and limited time job, that turned into a disaster to these guys, they really made the best of things and completed the project immaculately and to my satisfaction! I am very please with the finished product that Reece Tile provided me. Now, I want all my floors redone!!! Thank You Roy Reece and his crew!!!

waited again for estimate of price 5 days didn't hear anything so PURCHASED from another store. heard back about a week later which was too late. Beautiful store very nice sales lady carpet a bit pricy but thought I would have problem free installation/as trade off for extra price.

Originally we had a little trouble finding the color of carpet that we wanted, but Reece Tile was able to locate a substitute that was acceptable and could be installed in a timely manner. The carpet was ordered and came in promptly. The installation of the carpet was excellent and the installer was able to take a piece of the used carpet to replace an area in the hallway. Very satisfied with the product and installation.
