Description of Work: We had our roof replaced after storm damage. The only complaint we hado was we had asked for a quite on our siding and it was several weeks before we got it. Then wemail never heard from them about replacing it. We then chose.another company to do our siding since they didn't seem interested enough to follow up.

I called a second time and was told she was driving and she would call me back at the number I called her on. No call back. Third time my name, number and address were taken and no one showed up or contacted me. I will not call back.

During the home visit, he was very professional, polite, and gave a sincere persona. However, he then began to ask what our insurance was covering on each area and proceeded to charge that amount . Finally he asked to see the paperwork from our insurance carrier and ended up charging the total amount we were receiving from the carrier. This meant the amount for the interior damage (which Cobar was not including in their estimate) was going to come out of our pockets. When our Insurance carrier received the Cobar work detail estimate, they notified us that the shingles had to be removed before the new roof was to be installed. We contacted Cobar and left word for the salesman to call which he returned our call once and my husband had to call him back and it took 9 days for us to get a call back. When we told him about the shingles having to be replaced, Cobar added another $1200.00on to the bill. My husband then realized too late what they had been doing and canceled their service and demanded our deposit back.
Description of Work: Salesman did not give an estimate on the job but rather an estimate on the amount our insurance was going to pay us for the various damage sites.

We did work with this customer to try and minimize their out of pocket expense; the [member name removed]'s were upgrading from a shingle to a metal roof, which carries a premium price. Our bid included laying over the existing shingle roof with a 26 ga. metal roof. The agent advised the customer they would have to remove the shingle roof to obtain their insurance discount. Once we were advised of this we had to charge for the extra labor and dump fees that comes with removing approximately 7 tons of waste. If we had the opportunity to complete this project I am confident the customer would have been completely satisfied.

He was very responsive and would call back quickly. They also cleaned up well. They were very nice to work with and they were never reluctant if I asked if they could perform additional services.
Description of Work: They put on a new roof and gutters on our house. They worked well with the insurance providers and even met them when they came out to point out any work that needed repaired.

Came to give me an estimate. He was here for 4 hours. He ended up taking a personal phone call which took up a little of his time. He gave me a quote and then changed the quote. He also took a look at the garage which I didn't need any assistance with.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this review. We offer 100% FREE estimates to all customers, whether they chose to allow us to complete the work or not. This particular customer was approximately 120 miles round trip from our office. Due to the rising cost of gas, it is only business savvy to be thorough with measurements and the entire estimate process to prevent multiple trips. Also, the estimate process is extensive in itself. We want to ensure that every customer is completely aware of all of the work that will be completed in each job and we are very specific in detailing each item on our estimate sheet. To address the change in the original quote: during this inspection, the homeowner did not originally specify whether or not to include the garage. As most roofing estimates requested from hail damage are based on the entire property, the original quote was based as such, however; once the customer identified that she did not want the garage included, the overall price actually decreased. As far as the “Grades”: Price F…We gave the customer a very competitive bid on an architectural shingle. We would love the opportunity to review our estimate compared to others, our pricing is competitive and accepted by other customers on a daily basis. Responsiveness A. A is good Punctuality D. We made the appointment between 10:30 and 11:00 am. We were there at 10:50 am. This should be an A. Professionalism D. Not sure what to say here. We treated her as professionally as we treat any other customer and we certainly get a lot of nice comments and referrals. To sum up your concerns, you told us you had 3 different insurance adjusters come out to your home and you still have not been paid enough, you told us you had 2 other roofing companies come out and try to repair your roof, and it still leaks. We drove 120 mile round trip to give you a free estimate, spent a long time inspecting and checking everything at your home, for your benefit, wrote up a very competitive bid based on numbers we use every day in our business. Is there really a complaint here for this? We strive to have 100% customer satisfaction. If given the chance to actually complete the work, our quality of work would have spoken for itself. To other customers, if in the future you are looking for a highly reputable company that takes pride in their work (which may actually take a little longer to ensure that everything is completely accurate), please call Cobar Roofing & Construction. They do excellent work. They were so kind and sweet to my mother as she is a little hard to deal with. They did everything, and picked up.
Description of Work: I used Cobar Roofing and Construction. They did my mother's, and another neighborhood that I had to live. The storm came through and they did every roof in that neighborhood. They did the roof across the street and when my mom had trouble, we called them, and they were wonderful. A year later, they did some ceiling work. They were right there and did their best to fix the problem. They did a roof a year ago; it was the inside. Two months ago, there was an issue with our ceiling.
