The heat pump is a good unit. No complaints there. The duct work never did work properly. One half of the house will be comfortable and the other half will be to cold/hot. They rigged up some kind of damper and got it working better, although not like it should be. I decided to live with it. They were supposed to set up a maintenance contract and come out twice a year to service the unit. I never heard a word. I would call the office and they would promise someone would come out. Nobody ever showed up. I would call and get all kinds of excuses. Someone is out sick, too many service calls, etc. In early July of this year, something happened and all the air conditioning started going to one side of the house. I called them and, to my surprise, they came out on July 16th. They told me the damper had rusted and the took it out. They were to return in the next day or two to replace the damper. they charged me $346.00 to remove the damper and $139.00 service charge. I got in an argument with them about that. I did not think I should have to pay The $346.00 until the job was finished. I kind of understood the service charge. I went ahead and paid them with the promise that they would return. They never showed. I started calling them. A guy named Robert took my calls. He told me that parts were ordered and he would call when he got them. To this day I have not heard from them. I call the office and they will either put me on hold or not answer the call. I have left several voice mails to no avail. I called another company out and they would not work on it because "it's a mess under there". I am 71 years old and a 100% disabled veteran and am not able to go under the house to see for myself. I really need my A/C fixed.
