Our a/c was not working well, called on Sunday, Thomas came out Monday repaired 1st unit very polite - Paul set up for Wednesday to install new Trane for 2nd floor unit (Terrance and Ryan - worked on old unit last year - great job, professional) and installed new unit - we would recommend them These guys were fast, efficient and went above and beyond by fixing our front door knob!

We called Ace to check an A/C system at our rent house and at our son's house. Since our son was getting married that weekend and had just bought the house, we said we'd cover the cost. They were supposed to go to our rental in the morning but my wife missed their call by 8 minutes, but when she called back they told her they would run another call first because she didn't call back within 10 minutes! She tried to call the guy twice and he never answered, went to voicemail both times! They came back 3 hours later, changed a capacitor and charged us $260 for 30 minutes work. Fine, parts, labor, it's a business, I get it. On to my son's house. Same guy, different address. Apparently the coil was frozen there. After hosing out the outside unit, the tech said it needed 3 pounds of freon bringing our total bill here to $320. That's $75 for them to show up, $75 for the first pound of freon, $50 for each additional pound, and another $70 to wash the unit. My wife called their home office and asked about the $70 for cleaning the unit when they could have told us to do it (not rocket science, we do it every year at our house and our rental), so they agreed to waive the fee. COOL!! Then the tech explains the bill to my wife and she confirmed 3 pounds of freon, he walks out to the truck and comes back a few minutes later saying it was 4 pounds! WTH??? We got the distinct feeling they were making up for the $70 they waived, but what angered me most was when my wife brought the discrepancy up and said he told her 3 but is charging for 4 pounds, ha basically called her a liar! I won't have that, my wife doesn't go around telling lies. Period. Never again will they see a dime from us. NEVER. Liar indeed!

Service man arrived right on time and was very polite and respectful. He identified the problem, showed me the work that needed done, explained everything in layman's terms and quoted me a fair price before he did any work. He also offered to leave all part changed in case I wanted to check the validity of the work done.

Overall, it was painless. The tech treated me with respect and I did not feel pressure to do anything that wasn't needed. I will gladly use Ace Air again.

Our A/C unit was not cooling and we did not find out until Friday afternoon. We called Ace and they scheduled the appt for Monday afternoon. They could have came out Friday night but we would have to pay the overtime rate. It had been storming and raining all day Monday and we were worried they would not show up, but they still showed up. It took the technician no time at all to diagnose the problem. He did have to take most of the outer covering off the A/C unit to get to the area he needed to work. Then he had to leave to get the part. This is the third time that we have used Ace and we have always been pleased with their service and prices. The thing that we did not like was the fact that the whole time (2 hours including the technician's drive to get the part) we were charged for. Even though he was only at our house for roughly an hour. The part he replaced was $16 and $124 was the labor cost. We would gladly pay $140 compared to the cost of repairing/replacing the compressor.

THEY DID A FABULOUS JOB ON THE AIR CONDITIONER AND HAD IT FIXED IN A TIMELY FASHION. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE JOB THEY DID, ALTHOUGH THE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN WE LIKE. WE FELT IT WAS WORTH IT FOR THE EXCELLENT SERVICE.
