Description of Work: They "price" by-the-job (i.e., drippy faucet) on a "schedule" that took some explanation to justify. Rep did good job on repair of bad shower faucet ... meticulous ... thorough ... worked hard to get the job right, requiring multiple trips ... Did good work with a successful conclusion.

Description of Work: "repaired" a leaky outdoor faucet. Their deal said "replace" and the faucet was not replaced. It still drips, but is much better than it was.

Description of Work: Purchased the Angie's List Big Deal offer of $99 for $250 worth of plumbing services. | |Ultimately work/repair was performed and so far the results have been as one would expect for plumbing work, no recurring problems. | |After purchasing the big deal I would have expected Air Solutions to contact me to discuss my needs, but instead I got a call from my wife that an employee was at our house to do work although no appointment had been scheduled, but didn't know what had to be done, so as you can imagine, we were caught off guard. | |The Big Deal offer did not have many details or define what was to be included in "Plumbing Services". My expectation was for $250 of hourly labor rates or labor & parts, but the technician said they charged by the "job". | |I purchased the offer to address several small items rather than one big item. | |The highest priority item was for a toilet to be reset as the anchor bolts had rusted out and was very unstable. Having several daughters, couple of shower drains were slow to drain and needed to be cleaned, and finally kitchen p-trap needed to be reconfigured since we had previously removed a very old water filter. The technician said the toilet reset alone was a $150 service call. Having removed and/or installed many toilets over the years as an apartment manager back in college and amateur remodeler on many of our homes, albeit when I was younger and before back issues, this is an easy and quick job for a professional. Two toilets were reset, but not the one I had requested. | |When I called the technician back he was apologetic and offered to reschedule another day and reset the correct toilet, and which was completed as agreed. | |Notwithstanding the unexpected appearance of the contractor and the miscommunication which would not have likely occured with better notice, the correct toilet was reset and a couple of drains were cleaned out. | |In the end the work performed was good. The communication could have been better, and I do think contractors offering services on specials should either define what is being offered, provide a sample, or if it is for "services" then the customer should be able to choose what service is to be performed at the reasonable labor rate. Knowing most plumbing service calls are for one purpose, I would not likely have purchased the special if I had thought that was the intent. But in the end, I did receive benefit commensurate with what I paid, and the technician accepted that a mistake was made and did what was necessary to correct the situation without charging me for another service call. | |I will use this contractor in the future in hopes of additional positive encounters.

Description of Work: changed one toilet ring which their book price was $223 of my $250 services. Each thing they do has a book price and I thought I would have them for about 2 hours of work. He spent 20 minutes total. To have hair cleaned from a bath tub was $192. I normally pay about $100 per hour. I will never use them for anything. This is not a fair way to work.

Description of Work: They fixed a faulty AC for me and gave me a great warranty! I don't remember the price charged but it was affordable and fair.

Description of Work: They fixed a running toilet, installed new faucets in each of my bathrooms. The work was very well done, and at a great price. I'd recommend them to anyone.
