Great - the problem was with the renter not changing the filter. Seems to have solved the problem. Took a day to get to it but not surprised with the temps in the area.

I contacted Melton's AC for manufactures warranty repair on my Frigidaire all-refrigerator. I was told it would be two days before a repairman could check my refrigerator, the next day the repairman called and said he was on his way. Luckily I would be home to allow him in to look at the fridge. He examined the fridge and said he would have to have the machine "in-shop" to complete repairs. He asked if I could deliver the fridge, I told him I didn't have a truck and that the warranty would not cover repairs if damage while in transport. He agreed and said it would probably take another day before pick-up. He was able to pick it up that day. He picked it up on Wednesday and the following Tuesday I called them to get an status, because the up-coming weekend was a holiday. He claimed they had just repaired it and he could deliver it. I feel their company should be more professional and call their customers with status' of repair, I should not have had to call them for a status. I appreciated that they was able to expedite the repairman's service call, but heads-up before they are in-route would be appreciated. Lastly, for a in-shop manufacturer warranty repair, the customer should not be asked to deliver the refrigerator.

They were prompt, courteous, and friendly and they got my washing machine going. That was a big deal for me. The price was reasonable. It was less than what I thought it was going to be.

My phone call was never returned so I moved on.

I have been using them for ten years. I can call them and say it is 1000 degrees in here and my air conditioner has given way and I have fifteen thousand people, they will be here within an hour to fix it. They are punctual, and they always fix the problem, and it is not like we have to call them back again and again. They come, they fix it, and they are done. Usually, Mr. Robert from Melton's comes in and does the work for us.

I bought a heat pump system from them a few years ago and have had issues with it after just a couple of years. This summer when it was so hot, my system could not keep up and my home was getting hot. I understand that heat pumps can only do so much, but they came out, put some refrigerant in it, said that it had a leak, but that they didn't have the right equipment to find the leak, and that they would return later with the correct equipment to fix. Never saw them again and was charged 234.00 for about 30 minutes of work and a few pounds of freon.

Called one day, a serviceman arrived at the time I was told he would give or take 10 min. The next day, checked my system over explaining to me about the importance of keeping my filter changed more often than I had been doing, showed me the door ajar and was not letting the little switch make contact so, my system would not run, storing my golf clubs in that closet was the cause, he then vacuumed around inside of that unit and checked all the gas fittings and electrical connections, he asked, if there were any thing else he could help me with and was gone.

THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY ARE ALWAYS KIND AND CORDIAL. THEY KNOW ME BY NAME PERSONALLY. THEY ALWAYS PUT FORTH 100% QUALITY EFFORT.
