The following are items that the electrical contractor did not accomplish during the building of our house: · The contractor came out and did a thorough walk-through and was supplied with house plans in order to markup were the electrical devices went · The contractor lost two sets of house plans supplied to him. · The contractor had to be recalled because when they said they were finished they left several receptacles unwired. · The contractor could not figure out to wire the doorbell correctly I had to wire it on my last visit. · Two major items were mentioned to the contractor that being, a high on the wall video connection in the master bedroom, and two 30 amp receptacles in the garage, neither were wired in the first two visits. · Contractor one connecting up to the permanent power going to the house disconnected the 30 amp breaker for the RV connection and neglected to tell us. We discovered there was no power to the RV two weeks later. · In some rooms the contractor wired the first switch in the room as the light the second switches the fan in other rooms this was reversed. · The breaker box was mislabeled, and it was discovered two circuit breakers were supplying one electrical circuit. · After a walk down by the company owners after the second recall punch list was developed with the many of the above items on it. After the owner’s visit to additional items were discovered one being missing video connection the other being a missing receptacle on the patio which simply had their romantic’s in the box. These concerns are conveyed to the owners via answering machine and email no response from the owners. When the new workers showed up to correct the above items they were unaware of the at least one of these other concerns. · During the third rework it was discovered a outside GFI receptacle was improperly grounded. I find the major errors of leaving receptacles unwired, improperly grounded, and inconsistencies of the device placements and indicator of lack of quality of work for this contractor. I would not recommend this contractor, unless you are a knowledgeable individual and can oversee their work on a daily basis.
