Job well done

I cannot find words to express my gratitude every day for the computer service performed for me by Ed Scott of Owasso Computer Repair. My computer is vital to my business and my personal life. My old computer had outlived its useful life and was dying several times every day. It was much too old to have it repaired. I postponed getting a new computer because I needed to keep all of the old files that were on my old machine. Transferring the old data to a new computer without losing any of it is hard to do. On top of that some of the data that I needed to keep was based on software that was over 10 years old and it could not be recognized by a new machine with Windows 10. Ed solved these problems by updating my old program software and then he set up the new equipment and transferred all of the data. I am thankful that I had his advice on the type of new equipment that I needed to get and that he unpacked it and set it up. It works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. Ed is a very nice gentleman, honest, reliable and punctual. Anyone needing help with home or business computers should give Owasso Computer Repair a call. By the way, I am not related to Ed, and I only know him through the work that he has done for me. This review is unsolicited. I was not asked to do this review, and he does not know that I am posting this.

Ed was very professional and responsive. He tested my computer to determine the problem, and kept in frequent contact with me to relay his progress. He replaced my hard drive and reimaged my machine. My computer is working fine and I would definitely use his services again.

Edward did a great job fixing the problem and also identifying an other issue that was creating problems too. He has gotten my computer running smoothly. He had great turn around time on the service. He kept me informed the entire time the estimated cost and time it would take to fix.

I had a couple of computers I couldn't get to post. After going through everything I knew to do, I took them to Mr. Scott to have a look. Fortunately one ended up only being a bad power supply, the other however ended up being a failed mother board. He took the time to diagnose the problems, and kept me informed about what he was doing and any results he had. He also made sure we agreed on the cost of the service before proceeding. Very professional and helpful.

There were a few problems but Ed stuck with it until he had resolved those that he could.

He researched the fan for my PC, emailed me a photo of what he found, which turned out to not match what I already had. He assisted me via phone to help rectify the problem I was having. At least the computer is up & running again, but I'm concerned it may not last much longer & if/when that occurs, it will be Owasso Computer Repair that I turn to for repairs.

The experience with this company has exceeded our expectations! Ed has been so helpful with some subsequent problems our grandmother was having (these problems stemmed from her not understanding the technology of the tablet.) He made a few follow-up visits to her and didn't even charge us for them! He again showed her how to access her email and helped her send a couple of emails. He was very patient and he stayed until she seemed to grasp what she was doing. Ed has been a Godsend since we don't live in the area and our grandmother was so disappointed after she lost her Webtv service which she had always used for email. Now she can continue to email her friends and family. She is 99-years-old and doesn't get out much, so this has been such a blessing. Thank you again, Ed, for providing such a valuable service and giving us a terrific price and for going out of your way to make sure she is doing o.k. with the new technology!

Mr. Scott picked up the computer and put the repair estimate on a ticket. As promised on the ticket, I paid the exact amount, no more...got my machine back better than ever and all the files were saved! You won't go wrong if you call Mr. Scott. He's a part of the Owasso community and will treat you right!

Ed arrived on time and is very professional. He verified all pictures and documents were backed up and transferred and corrcted my desktop icons, fixed search engines; updated and scanned; installed a spyware program, ran multiple scans. Myc omputer is much improved and I know everything is working right and backed up. He is well worth the service call, I highly recommend his work . He can work in your home or take your computer home over night if lengthly time consuming scans need to be run. We will definitely be using his services again.

Ed Scott worked untill he got the spam, trojans, and other virus's removed and then checked back the next couple of days to make sure everything was working good.

Thorough job...Ed went the extra mile to get the job done fast! He fixed my computer the way he'd fix his own computer...wouldn't stop till he'd maximized the computer's performance. Deleted all that "stuff" that builds up over time Picked up Thursday and dropped off Friday at no extra charge! That's what I call service! Computer runs great...only wish I'd called sooner!
