This is the second time that I have used this company. Once again I was truly impressed (and being in the customer service field that is hard to do.) I called on a Tuesday evening and they were out early Wednesday morning. He gave me a call before arriving to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived and noticed that #1 I had a switch that was going bad (the reason I had suddenly noticed heat radiating from the unit), then he got down to the reason for the call. My unit began making a loud noise (sounding like the washing machine was unbalanced). He took out the blower fan and cleaned that up in hopes that it would fix the problem (amazing what 11 years of dust and dirt can look like). Ended up having to replace the blower motor, and because mine is an unusual size he had to find one. I told him to go ahead take the unit so that he could find what he needed and within 48 hours (and I knew it was going to take at least that long) he had found the fan and a motor (a just in case thing). Within 48 hours he called me to let me know that he had found the part and the motor as well. He let me know that the motor was 'OK' for right now and we didn't really need to replace it, I opted to go ahead and replace as it would need it sooner or later and since everything was already apart it was the perfect time. The fan and the motor actually ended up being "upgrades" to what I had originally, meaning that I have better air circulation through my vents. I was amazed at the difference. I can not thank the Eklund's enough for everything that they have done. I would highly recommend using them if you need any AC or Heating work done!

Will came out to our house on a Saturday evening (around 6). Checked the outside unit (we were thinking and hoping it just needed a recharge), and it was discovered that it was OK. He came into my home and checcked out the interior unit. It was discovered that it was the coils that were dirty. He stated that he could clean them for us, but it wouldn't be until Monday and he would have to 'cut out' the entire unit and have to use a power washer on it (possibilitiy of having to go to local car wash.) We decided to wait until Monday to make the decision, and my husband and I worked on it all weekend. On Monday, the entire unit just stopped altogether. Will cam back out to our home at 530 that evening (was impressed with how clean it was), and discovered that it was some sort of switch (I wasn't home, the husband was). Will stated that he had one on a unit that had stopped working and that he would gaurntee that it was good, however he would have to run to the house to get it. He left and came right back and replaced the unit. He did this to save the cost of a new one. We turned everything on, and the outside unit wouldn't turn on. He went out to it and there was another part that needed to be replaced. Will had that part on his truck and made the replacement. During all of this, he took the time to explain and show us what was going on and the difference between a the bad part and the good part. While he did all of this, you never got the sense that he had anything else in the world to do (you that rushed gotta go perception that you get so much of the time.) He was very througho and his goal was to get us back up and running. He did this, and in the process impressed us with his dedication to the customer and his strong ethical background. This business will go very far, even during tough economical times. Thanks Will, you are the best!
