My house plumbing was backing up and I called the plumber I've used for several years. After rotor rooting the drain pipe to the septic tank they couldn't find a clog and so suspected the septic tank was full. The plumbers and I dug down to uncover both the main clean-out and the 'baffle plug' to make sure that the problem was really in the tank. When they pulled the Baffle plug sewage ran out confirming that the tank was overfull. I called Anytime Septic because they were close and the driver said he would be there at 9:00 AM the next morning. He said the price would be $375.00. The driver, John, arrived at 10:30 AM saying that he had to do a job before us and proceded to pump our tank out from the baffle plug hole without removing the previously uncovered main pumpout lid. After 22 minutes of pumping he told my wife that his truck was full and we owed him $425.00. My wife called me at work and put the driver on the phone who reduced the price down to his original $375.00. He told me he would put the plug back in the hole, which he didn't do. It turns out that the outlet pipe from the tank to the liftpump was plugged and the sludge in the main part of the tank was not removed which added to the subsequent re-plugging of the outlet pipe. My complaint is that 1.) He didn't really suck out my main septic tank or even open up the main tank to look at potential issues, 2.) He didn't put the baffle plug back in the hole, 3.) He tried to charge my wife an extra $50.00, and 4.) I had to call another service in to re-empty and truly clean-out my septic tank including the outlet pipe which cast an additional $300.00. $375.00 for 22 minutes of work. Wow.
Description of Work: Pumped my septic tank from the baffle opening.

Description of Work: Said we needed air pump. When asked why he was so high we believe he was not honest on pricing. We were desperate for repair and believed his story. After work completed checked on line and with other companies and he was three times higher than everyone else. We only called him as our old company Coppage sold their business to anytime or that was what he told us. Feel we were screwed on pricing and wonder now if he even did what he said he did. Have call out for inspection by someone else.

All of our work along with our parts come with a min of a 2 year parts and labor warranty that is some of the reason we are higher on our parts than some online store also we did remove and install the new part that is some of the cost difference as well

I'm new to owning a septic tank so I am not familiar with its proper maintenance needs and the associated costs. In June of this year, the red light lit up on our aerobic system and I found Anytime Septic on Angie's List. Our system hadn't been pumped in the five years that we owned the house, so it was evident that that's what was needed. I guy named Ken came out and explained that only two of the three chambers needed to be pumped at that time and charged me $250 per chamber. I will say that Ken was extremely nice and helpful which is why I gave them a little higher score on Professionalism. He explained to me that the air filter should be cleaned every six months. And that since we hadn't done so in the five years, our air pump was running hot and in bad shape. He said he wasn't sure how much life the thing had left but that we shouldn't replace it until it quit. In our defense though, the lid to the air filter had been belted shut - unable to open unless you cut the strap. Confusing to me as I would have worried over opening the thing given how it was secured. Anyway, he left and I felt good about the service visit until I noticed a huge oil spot on my driveway. The vehicle used to pump the tank apparently needed a tune up. I was annoyed but not angry and called to inform them so that they could get it fixed before it leaked on another customer's property. Fast forward two months and the red light lit up again. I called Anytime Septic to take a look. This time the air pump finally kicked the bucket. I was told that to replace it would cost me $850. This would be the price of the same type of pump I originally had. An okay pump which might last five years. Or I could go with a different type of pump, a better pump for $300 more. This one I was told could last up to ten years. I said okay thinking any repair to a septic tank would likely cost something in the $1,000+ range. He left to get the part and I went to researching air pumps on the Internet. I found that the price range for many of these pumps was actually $250 to $500. So I called around to other businesses to see what they would charge. I was quoted $535 for the whole thing - parts and labor. I in turn called Anytime Septic to see what they thought and after checking with the boss I was told that they would give me the "better" pump for the $850 price. I got a funny feeling about them and went with the $535 guy. Questioning Anytime Septic at this point, I asked this other guy how much did he charge to pump a tank and was told $450 for all three chambers. Great! Now I'm feeling kind of bad about the price I paid to Anytime Septic. I had this other guy double check the third un-pumped tank and come to find out it should have been pumped. The water looks pretty clear on top, but if you dig a little deeper you could see the sludge buildup. The lowest price I can get someone out to do just one chamber is $250. So basically I paid $750 for what could have been $450. Lesson learned going forward.
Description of Work: Anytime Septic came out to pump my septic tank. And then two months later came out to look at replacing the air pump.

What started out as a routine cleaning of 2 septic tanks turned into a much more expensive proposition...the jetting of septic lines on one tank. Did we really need this service? Who knows. The lead guy made a reasonable argument, so we approved the procedure. The guys were professional enough and did a nice job cleaning up and replacing sod. My dissatisfaction comes from the huge oil leak left on our driveway from their truck. They offered to borrow our power washer and rinse off the driveway, but that was only going to spread the oil that had not yet soaked into the drive. They had already been on the job most of the afternoon and I was ready to have the experience behind me. I wanted to give a "C" for overall experience, based on the ugly oil stains on our driveway. I gave them a "B" only because the oil issue wasn't a part of the actual work on the sewer lines and they did offer to give it a quick rinse. If you hire this company, make sure you have a large, absorbent material you can put under their truck to protect your property.
Description of Work: Pumped 2 septic tanks. They thought that we might have a plugged line on one of the tanks so they jetted the line.

My husband watched the entire operation for his own information. The operator located the lid to the tank then dug it out with a shovel. He pumped the tank to his specialized truck and thoroughly rinsed the tank. He restored the lid to its proper position and returned the soil that had been removed.
Description of Work: He arrived within 3 hours of our initial call. Provided excellent service pumping out septic tank. We thought the price was reasonable. We will use him in the future.
