I was introduced to Mr. Beard recently as I was looking for someone to do plaster repair on our house in a historic district. Everyone we had been talking to until this point wanted to put in a piece of drywall and then cover that with a coat of plaster. He was the first one that would actually do the plaster work. When he came over to look at the work, we found out that he's been doing this for over 60 years, we're glad to see that he's passing along his knowledge for others to follow. He was careful to put down coverings on the floor where he planned on walking. He carefully cleaned up after himself (though there was still plaster dust that settled over the next few hours). The work was done very well and very quickly. He is a very pleasant man to work with. He always had a smile on. I would recommend him to work on small jobs on historic homes that need repair. You can ask about larger jobs (like replastering whole rooms), but he prefers smaller repair jobs.
Description of Work: Mr. Beard and his assistant repaired plaster near our front door, the main hallway and near the back door.
