Urban Lawn and Garden

They're wonderful. I'm currently using their service. They were completely dependable and they do a fantastic job. Anytime I call them for any extras, they respond immediately. It was just a fantastic company.

Quick and simple explanation. Lawn was sprayed, but the weeds did not die. They grew sick then came back. Not new ones, these were the same ones after he sprayed. I called roughly five weeks later to let them know that they needed to apply another round. He didn't even really listen for my explanation. He just went on about the weed cycle, and weed control being an ongoing process. Yes, I know, I have had my other lawns at previous houses sprayed before. I didn't need to be educated, just needed good customer service. When he was done with his lecture, and I felt at though he was trying to get out of spraying, I asked him if the spray you attach to the end of a hose could do the same thing(yes I was being a smart a**). His response...yes. Then please tell me why I paid for you to make my weeds sick. I forgot to mention that towards the end of the conversation he asked me if I was the house he sprayed twice. When I told him I was not, he then asked if I was sure. Um yeah, I don't live in Edmond, you didn't spray my house twice. I think He should have lead with some questions instead of assuming he new which client I was.

I purchased their Living Social deal for Pre-Emergent for $24. I liked the idea of organic lawn care, for I have a dog, and am concerned about putting chemicals on the grass. I didn't speak to him directly on the phone, but he always returned my phone calls and emails, answering any question I had. He sprayed the morning of 3/29/13, and I was not home at the time. I wasn't sure when I would be able to let the dog back out in the backyard, so I emailed him and he got back to me quickly, within 1-2 hours. I also inquired about future treatments, and the price is still very affordable, even without the Living Social deal. I like their green approach, and I will be using them in the future!

I was interested in the organic approach to maintaining my yard as I have dogs that like to eat grass when they go outside and did not want chemicals sprayed on my yard. I visited at length with Willie by phone and although his company is new he appears knowledgeable about organic techniques. The basic procedures he uses for his services are based on well-established organic research. We had a couple of minor communication glitches at the start of service but worked those out and generally we communicate by email. The company provides an invoice after services through an online site that uses PayPal as the payment method, although you can also just mail a check. The first week I started services the online site's security certificate had just expired so I chose to send a check instead. By the following week the security certificate was updated and I have been paying by PayPal since then without any problem. The crew has arrived on the agreed upon day except for 2 weeks when rain delayed services by a day. Once I clarified what I wanted done each week the crew has done a good job completing the work. They always make sure to close my gate firmly when they leave so it stays latched until I am able to lock it. This week they had to modify the schedule due to rain and ended up making one visit to mow and a separate visit to trim hedges. All the hedge trimmings were bagged neatly and left by my Big Blue. Overall I am satisfied with the services the company provides, and pleased with the improving condition of my yard. I plan to continue using Urban Lawn and Garden in the future, and feel very comfortable recommending them to other customers.

They use electric-powered lawn mowers. They don't put off dangerous fumes. I like their environmental ethic.
