The chair is lovely...the job very well done. These guys are easy to work with, have solutions, know their stuff. The said 4-6 weeks before completion as I took the chair in during a busy time...it was done in four weeks and done perfectly. They recommended different finishes and options...walked me through it...easy! It was a very old chair and the cushion/padding was totally shot. They fixed everything and used the fabric I provided so now the chair is as good as new and so pretty!

Amazingly, we dropped it off in the morning and it was completed the SAME DAY!

They picked up the furniture on Oct. 7 and brought it back on Oct. 17, which was 2 weeks earlier than they said it would be. Truman was very personable and easy to work with. The workmanship is outstanding and professional. The men who did the delivery work were also very friendly and diligent. I did a lot of research and exploring other upholsterers before I settled on Truman and he turned out to be an excellent choice. I don't believe anyone else could/would do this job as well and in the same amount of time. I definitely recommend them and will go back to them in the future.

I contacted Truman's Fabric and Foam about possibly getting an estimate on my couch that I wanted to get an updated look, they were very nice and informative telling me if I could take some pictures of my couch from different angles and email them to there email address they would give me an approximate estimate on what it would be to complete the entire couch before I come and check out there fabrics in there store. I waited about 3 days for a response and was surprising happy with the total cost that they gave me.

We had four kitchen captain-type chairs to be recovered in a vinyl material with a total of 60 buttons covered in the same material. Each chair had additional padding over each arm and back and was attached with covered buttons. There were 15 buttons per chair. The color of the existing material had been discontinued. Truman, Barbara and Angie were very helpful in helping us pick out a replacement color. After selecting a new color from their upholstery books, Angie immediately went to a location in their shop where they had in stock the replacement material which eliminated any delay of ordering from the manufacturer. We took two chairs in on Monday morning, January 13, 2014, to be recovered and were called on Wednesday morning that they were completed. We picked those two up and took in the remaining two. On Thursday, January 16, we received a call that the last two chairs had been completed. We had no idea that this job would be completed in such a timely manner. We were extremely pleased with the workmanship. We will not hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend Truman's Fabric and Foam to any one needing upholstery work.

They are not a discount service. They provide a professional service at a price which is appropriate for the job. The sofa was ready when promised. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone who wants quality workmanship.

They have a vast selection of fabric on hand and the staff was very helpful in assisting us. Although we did not find what we wanted from their selection, they ordered what we wanted from their catalog. (ordering out was more costly, but we were trying to match other furniture). The service was timely and the quality of the work was excellent. This is the 2nd time we have used Truman's and we would do so again.

Excellent work and price. After looking around their shop at all the upholstery material and supplies, as well as the work they were performing, I was astounded that I had lived in the area for 40 years and just found out about them and what they do. I would very definitely use them again for other work and would highly recommend to anyone.

We contacted this company through Angie's List. We outlined what we wanted to them to do and never heard back from them.

This company was available when I needed them. He was also willing to use material I already had which I really appreciated. I loaded him up with all my projects - not huge jobs - but I was really impressed he'd be willing to do all that. I also had an old rocking chair which he made padded covers for which was my favorite result. He was always here when he said he would be and brought everything back on time.

This was my first experience with reupholstery ever. After doing extensive research on Angie's List, I decided to go with Truman's. First, I called them and asked for an estimate on reupholstering my hand me down wingback chair. I was told $325 for the labor plus whatever fabric I wanted. I decided to visit the shop (which is actually a giant warehouse in the middle of nowhere) so I could check out their fabrics. Customer service wasn't the greatest, I had a hard time finding someone to talk to. However, once I was noticed they were very helpful. Their selection was enormous but unfortunately none of it was my style. I like more modern, trendy and casual patterns. I found their stuff somewhat old fashioned, formal and very pricey. They had no problem with me bringing in outside fabrics. When I dropped off my chair and fabric I decided to add nailhead trim and refluff the cushions. I talked them down from $380 to $350. Truman, was absolutely wonderful; he suggested a particular color nailhead and he was right! I was told it would take 3-4 weeks and it took only 1.5 weeks. The outcome is beyond my hopes. I choose a Chevron tan/offwhite pattern and I honestly don't understand how they centered the and quot;zigzagsand quot; so perfectly. I've heard other people mention that Truman's labor costs are expensive. But after my experience, I think any extra cost is absolutely worth it. At the end of the day, I wanted a quality product that would last me another 10-15 years...and that's exactly what I got. I spent a total of $462 for labor/fabric and this quality chair would easily cost $1200-1500 if I were buying it new. They gave my old chair a new life. In the future, I have no doubt the Truman's will be my go to place for all things reupholstery. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I called Truman's for an estimate and sent pictures of the couch and they quickly called back. I supplied fabric and pillows. We set a date for pickup. Since pickup was in Norman but redelivery was in Okc. they only charged $35.00 pickup charge, which I appreciated. They called twice to find out which side of fabric I wanted and if I wanted piping on my pillows. Everyone I spoke to were very helpful and courteous. They told me it would take 3 weeks to be finished but they called and delivered in 2 weeks. The couch when I received it looked beautiful. Workmanship was outstanding. Couch and pillows beautifully done. Every detail taken into account. Thank you Truman's for a wonderful couch that I will be using for many years to come. I will be calling again.

Truman has a large selection of fabrics on site as well as samples that can be used to order fabric. The sofas were covered in a rust velour fabric that was ordered. Truman ordered the amount of fabric to upholster the sofas and pollows to be made. When the work on the sofas was done, there was no fabric left to make the pillows to match. After some discussion about the fact that the original price was to include the pillows, he agreed to split the cost of the fabric needed to cover the pillows. One of the sofas had the armrest on the wrong end so it was taken back for correction. The work was professionally done and the sofas look great! The chair needed new webbing on the seat and to be covered with fabric provided by me. It is better than it was when new. They deliver the work when done if requested for a reasonable charge. They use great care in handling the upholstered items. They do great work and I will use them again when needed.

They have a huge warehouse and huge collection of material and books. They are very, very good, but what like liked, this was above and beyond what normal people would do, I was getting really tired because it was taking forever to find material and I just ran up and chose a pillow. She called me back and said we looked at that fabric and we don't think it would look good or stand up. She said if you want it, we will do it, but I have used another material to make the pillows, you see if you like it and it turned out to be gorgeous. They really know their stuff.

I was very satisfied with them. They had very good pricing. They were friendly and easy to work with. They try to be helpful. I will absolutely use them in the future.
