Description of Work: Dryer vent cleaning. |They had to install different vent-cap which we weren't expecting since this house was 8 years old; however, he installed it and finished up quickly. |We had an Angie'sList coupon for dryer vent cleaning but apparently there was also a service call fee which he waived due to the extra work.

Description of Work: The work provided was very good. I was disappointed that the electrician spent so much time trying to sell me future services while I was waiting on him to do the work I wanted. I wanted three light fixtures changed out, simple fixtures, and it took almost three hours because of the hard sell I was getting.

Description of Work: I had an outdoor faucet that was dripping, they tried to fix it with a washer change on the first visit. That didn't work though and I had to call them back out (the day before Thanksgiving) and they were able to fix it by replacing the faucet assembly which turned out to be a better solution.

Description of Work: Rather disappointed that no work was done. There was a service call charge for, what was basically, a very detailed estimate. I didn't expect to pay for an estimate. I'm sure the work they do is good, but I will not be using them based on this experience. If I had been told that there would be a service charge for providing an estimate and no electical work would be done at the time of the service call, I would have declined.

Description of Work: I called because the blower motor had gone out on my admittedly old ac unit that I was hoping to limp along until autumn so that I could replace it. The techs came out and looked at the unit and seemed quite baffled as to how to replace it. They were on site about 10 minutes when I got a Call from another company that had serviced the system before. The techs were very quick to close the door to the unit and charge me an $88 service call fee. I was a little frustrated by the service call fee mostly because I was never informed of it, either when I made the appointment or when they called to confirm. They really didn't give me a recommendation for repair or offer me a quote on service or replacement.

Description of Work: The work was to include installing an outside outlet. The estimate was way over what I thought it would be or had intended to spend by almost $500. I asked for and received a refund from Angie's List although I suspect that this experience would be fairly common using this type of coupon. The company will sell the coupon for half price and then tack on that amount to the bill. I will not be purchasing any of these coupons again.
